La Fonte di Mariella is a very nice Agriturismo place up far up on the hill, but very quiet, pieceful and located in the middle of the beautiful nature, surrounded by chestnut trees. The owner is very nice, friendly and helpful. It is also very nice to go for walks/hiks and do other outdoor sports up there, like e-mountainbiking. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice place to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful autumn day. The food was great (dinner and breakfast). We were offered a dinner menu for an affordable price with plenty of food and four courses. There are also cats (even with small kiddens, awww) to play with and two donkeys. The owner sells very tasty honey directly harvested from his bees at his place with different flavors (i.e. from chestnut trees). We liked very much to stay there and will always come back again in the future to calm down in the nature for a few days.

Set at an altitude of 750 metres, the Fonte Di Mariella has rooms with exposed-beam ceilings and tiled floors. Each comes with free internet and a private bathroom with soft bathrobes. A daily continental breakfast is provided. The restaurant specialises in dishes from the Dosso Valley, including local salami and cheese. Boat trips on the lake can be organised from nearby Gravedona. Como and Sondrio are both an 80-minute drive away.
