A cozy little place tucked away near Mt. Etna. The property is large enough to roam around, but has easy access (with car) to the local towns and attractions. The staff was extremely friendly -- we even got a recipe for the amazing cake that they make every morning for breakfast. The nearby restaurant, within walking distance, is also fantastic!

Very special place and exceptionally personal and friendly staff. Genuine. We'd absolutely revisit if ever back in Sicily. We did enjoy our stay there a lot. Seeing the top of Etna in sunshine from the bed in the morning, it is really difficult to describe the experience.

Superb old house. Beautifully furnished with comfortable rooms. Very nice reception and welcoming owners. By far the best breakfast over our trip to Sicily - cookies, cheeses, meats, nuts, and fruits. I recommend staying here if you want to see how old and traditional country house looks while having modern facilities in your room. Good place to stay if you have a car and want to go to Etna Nord. We stayed there for two nights and I would recommend it as a minimum length of stay to get the full feeling of the place and surroundings.

This was a very nice place to stay, run by two very nice sisters. We regret that we did not have time to stay longer. It is a very pleasant farmhouse, beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean rooms in a great location from which to explore the Etna area and go for lovely walks. The breakfast is varied, there was everything and more for a good start to the day. We would definitely come back if we come to Sicily again.

Great house with lots of character. Very welcoming, generous hosts. Outstanding breakfast with fresh bread, pastries, local cheese and salami as well as eggs to order and all sorts of other bits. Very homely feel to the place. So good, we booked an extra night.

Owners are very friendly and nice people. Place was located nearby many good wineries. Products in breakfast were just great, homemade olive oil, jams, cake etc. Room was clean and warm. Generally saying, everything here was good :)

This was the large estate of a baron in earlier times. It was a relaxing stay in the heart of the north Etna wine country. Several wineries offering tastings could be reached by walking, including Tenuta di Terre Nere, a large and influential wine maker. A reasonably priced gourmet restaurant was just down the road. We enjoyed the plentiful breakfast, offering sweet and savory choices. They always had a special sweet cake or tart which was especially enjoyed by my husband. Breads and delicious homemade marmalades were on the table along with savory meats and cheeses. Fruit, yogurt and fresh new crop walnuts were available as well.
