Yuenshe Private Residences @ Higashi Hongan-ji is located in Kyoto's traditional Machiya vicinity, and it's a connecting unit with Yuenshe's Higashi Hongan-ji Residence. We have kept the original wooden structure of the old Kyoto house and gave it a fresh interior and modern amenities for greater comfort and also every house comes with an inside small japanese garden. Both the living room and second bedroom retains the japanese tatami flooring. If you have more guests staying and want the privacy and extra living space, you can consider reserving both connecting houses for greater comfort and convenience. This guesthouse is only available for renting the entire house, even for two persons it's not subletable or sub divided for others to rent separately this is to ensure the safety and comfort for every guests during their acomodation. There are quality bathing towels, hand towels, slippers, and 1000 thread count bedsheets provided and a build in kitchen for preparing simple meals. The useable space is more than 75sqm. The house has free mobile pocket wifi that you can be connected while on the move around Kyoto.

It's a traditional Kyoto style machiya house with over 100 years in history and just few meters away by the lane is a small old Wakamiya Temple for worshipping. Nearby Kyoto Station, so easy to arrive anywhere and shopping mall.
