The accomodation is located in the middle of a palm forest and the garden is lovingly tended. Each bungalow has its own terrace. The host is super friendly and even picked me up from the bus stop as well as he has taken me to the pick-up point when I left. If you don't want to go out for dinner after a busy day, the Bentre Coco Lodge is a great place to eat!

This accommodation is in a wonderful area and yet not far from the city. I chose this place to explore the Vietnamese countryside either by bicycle or on foot. I didn't expect the owner to be so friendly. He rode his bike with me around the area and in very good English explained a lot of things to me about life and work in the countryside, etc., it was amazing. He even took me to hang out with his friends in town. There is a dense network of roads and paths in the area, which can be explored for several days. Bicycles are in serviceable condition, but don't expect to shift gears, after all, it's flat there. When I was riding my bicycle, the dogs sometimes barked, but they didn't chase me. Surprisingly there were almost no mosquitoes, not even in the evening, I saw about 4 of them during my stay, but I didn't get bitten, I think it's because the salt water comes into the delta at high tide.

On s’y sent tellement bien ! Notre hôte parle très bien anglais et il est très arrangeant. Les vélos et les kayaks sont gratuits. Le cadre est magnifique et les paysages sublimes. Notre hôte nous a même fait une balade/visite guidée des environs avec visite d’usine de coco, le couché de soleil sur la rivière et des explications précieuses et très intéressantes. Si vous prenez les vélos, vous trouverez pas très loins des petits restos très peu chère et des petites supérettes. Ils ne sont pas référencés sur Google map donc il faut un peu chercher.

I loved how calm and local everything was here. Our host Tai and his family were warm and welcoming. We were able to rent a scooter and he allowed us to use his bicycles. Tai also helped us with anything we needed arranged. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
