Situated on one of the most beautiful islands on the Mekong River, Cai Be Town, Tien Giang Province, Mekong Rustic stands beside Cai Be floating market among fruit gardens which emphasize the beautiful but seldom visited rural areas on this side of the Mekong River. Beautiful natural surroundings notwithstanding, it's not the surroundings nor the brick and mortar of villages which make up communities, it's the people. At Mekong rustic, it is important to us that you feel welcomed and included. We do this by offering true Mekong Vietnamese hospitality. This is necessary if we wish to learn as much from you as we hope you learn from us.
Active Travel Asia’s founder, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Bich (Bobby Nguyen) and his partners decided to launch Tan Phong Island in Cai Be, Tien Giang under the brand name of Mekong Rustic in 2014.Mekong Rustic aims to promote Mekong's daily life, culture and local people. The Responsibility The first responsibility is to our guests and partners. We try my best to provide the best quality products and services. And bookings must be promptly attended too. The second responsibility is to local people who work with us, they must have a sense of security in their jobs. The third responsibility is to Mekong Rustic Management who make outstanding things for our guests. The fourth responsibility is to the local communities and authorities. We will support eco-tourism, environmental friendly project and local charity. We promote civic improvements, health, education, invest back into the local communities and make them part of the development of responsible Tourism.
By staying with us, you directly support conversation of local communities living around Mekong delta, while driving employment opportunities and income for families of Tan Phong, Cai Be and Mekong delta's surrounding area. We constructed the Mekong Rustic to be a refuge of peace and charm, which allows you to get away from these crowded pack backer hubs, and to immerse in authentic natural and cultural setting of Mekong delta in Cai Be, Tien Giang province. We provide community members with practice skills in the hospitality trade and with tangible assets such as quality Rustic and homestay facilities. The tourism skills and hard assets allowed local community people to more effectively participate in the tourism chain value.
