Excellent location within a walking distance from the center/shops/restaurants/cafes, but still quiet at night and 1 min from the ocean where you can walk on the beach. We were welcomed with delicious chocolate muffins. The lady who owns the place is absolutely lovely - super friendly and welcoming, gave us her WhatsApp if we had questions. Bed is comfy, place is clean and has a large window. Exactly as advertised. Very safe, properly locks with a gate. Punta arenas is generally very safe.

Patrick, a fabulous host, takes care of every detail and can solve any problem. (ANY problem!) He is highly experienced, professional and has a calm, genuine manner. We stayed on Christmas Eve and he hosted an incredible barbecue dinner for all the travelers. The surrounding area is stunning. Would return in a heartbeat!

The nearest airport is Teniente Julio Gallardo, 50 km from the lodge, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. We booked 4 nights at the Riverline Lodge and felt at home from the first moment. The owners are very very nice people and even with the language barrier, they made us feel welcome. We visited the lodge with our 2 year old son and they all loved him and spoiled him with extra drinks and snacks. We had dinner at the lodge a few nights, which we highly recommend! Javier was going the extra mile for us, giving us some nice tips for hiking in Torres del Paine with our son (in a backpack) and even warmed our fireplace in the room.

There is also a kitchen in some of the units equipped with a fridge, an oven, and a microwave. Very comfortable cabins with basic appliances and dishes for cooking and eating. The owner also helped me out when I had a flat tire right after arrival. Recommended!
