We were welcomed with delicious chocolate muffins. The lady who owns the place is absolutely lovely - super friendly and welcoming, gave us her WhatsApp if we had questions. Bed is comfy, place is clean and has a large window. Exactly as advertised. Very safe, properly locks with a gate. Punta arenas is generally very safe.

Patrick, a fabulous host, takes care of every detail and can solve any problem. (ANY problem!) He is highly experienced, professional and has a calm, genuine manner. We stayed on Christmas Eve and he hosted an incredible barbecue dinner for all the travelers. The surrounding area is stunning. Would return in a heartbeat!

Our family had one of the older rooms with two twin beds and the recently built cabin with a queen. The rooms had a beautiful view of the lake. The rooms were beyond our expectations. Pablo is an amazing chef - breakfasts were great and we enjoyed the menu at dinner every evening. He also gave great recommendations for activities before arrival and during our trip.

Located on over 300 hectares of property, Peuma Lodge Patagonia offers accommodation in the Futaleufú Valley, 24 km away from the city centre of Futaleufú. A complimentary breakfast is served daily. The Chalet is 250 meters from the main building Peuma lodge is a 4 star resort. Beautiful, impeccable cabins with stunning views. The main reception building houses the dining room, a relaxing lounge and has a large veranda with lounge chairs around a large hot tub. Further down there is an entertainment building with a large TV and ping pong table. Across from this is the massive sauna and another secluded hot tub with stairs to the river for a plunge pool for the brave. Sheep mow the lawn to keep to you amused. The beds are comfortable and the shower hot and powerful. The staff were all friendly, always attentive to your needs, quick to light the fires so your cabin was ready each evening after dinner. The breakfast was good and dinner’s delicious. 30,000 per person for 3 courses - 2 choices per course was reasonable for the quality of food. We loved every course over 3 dinners. We organised rafting from here which was amazing and was only a 15 minute drive down the road. I recommend scheduling at least 1 day to stay and relax in the hot tub and grounds. This hotel is a beautiful oasis off the Carretera Austral. We could have stayed several more days easily.
