Good location, nice room with balcony and a lady at the reception was very nice offering places to see where to eat etc. the owner also kindly offered to come and get us from the port to the hotel.

Located on the sea promenade in Santa Marina Salina, Hotel Punta Barone offers rooms with air conditioning. Guests can enjoy spectacular full views of the Mediterranean Sea from the shared sun... It was a relaxing hotel to stay at! The owner greeted and offered us juice and coffee upon arrival. The view was fabulous and our room faced the ocean! We could leave the window open and hear the waves of the ocean as we slept. The beach is in front of hotel. Also the AC worked great on those extra hot days! And the location is perfect, just 7 minutes by foot from the port. We were able to even rent a scooter right from the hotel with ease. Next to us on the beach, was this really cool limoncello shaped kiosk bar that opened from happy hour until the wee hours of the night playing all sorts of tunes from jazz to late night lounge. We loved it all! My only suggestion would be faster WiFi, but other then that, this place was awesome and we would go back in a heartbeat!

Just 50 metres from Punta Barone beach, I Cinque Balconi is 200 metres from the port on the island of Salina. It features air-conditioned rooms and a large garden with lemon trees. Lovely room with an amazing view. The restaurant is wonderful and I also liked breakfast in the garden.

The view is amazing, location is close to everything and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. Eleonora, the manager, arranged a pick-up for us from the port. She also booked us a day tour to Panarea and Stromboli. On our departure date, she offered to open breakfast early for us or even pack up a to go box for us which was incredibly thoughtful. Loved everything ❤️

The fine dining and the regular restaurant are full of local products and traditional flavors (with an eye to the future and innovation). She offered me fresh vegetables and fruit from her garden, homemade jam and helped me a lot in arranging excursions to the other Aeolian islands and transportation in Lipari (since I don't speak Italian). The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with a nice garden. It has a beautiful view and is ideal for calm nights.

Words and pictures don't do justice. This was not only one of my favorite places in Italy, but one of the most breathtaking experiences I've ever had. 1-they had their driver come to meet my lady and I at the port for pickup and drop-off to and from hotel. 2-the staff was professional, kind, accommodating, and friendly.(they upgraded our room when we checked in) 3-the breakfast was all anybody could ask for with freshly baked pastry as well as refreshing fruits that helped us start our days off right. 4-the other guests that were at the hotel were some of the coolest people I've ever met in my life. 5- and I'll sum it up with this. YOU WILL NOT GET A BETTER VIEW OR PRIVATE ACCESS to the water like You do here. Ignore any other bad reviews because those people don't know what they are talking about. This place is a hidden gem that you NEED to experience. Ciao.

We had such a lovely stay at Case Margherita. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The little patios by each apartment are a great spot to eat, hang out, and relax. The view from the pool is just awesome at all times of the day. Linda and her staff were all very nice, available, and helpful. We'll absolutely stay here next time we're in Lipari!
