Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

OmanThe receptionist was very slow in registering the guests. I had to wait for nearly 20 mins to get the key card. The hotel is old but it is clean. There are some items in room which should be changed as they are old. Once I checked out, the receptionist asked me to wait for 5 min but he forgot to update me. I stayed waiting for 20 min for nothing. After that he noticed that I'm still waiting. Then he remembered and told me that everything is OK sir !!!!. Some thing else, I asked for late check out that suppose to be at 1 pm instead of 12pm. They told me ok during check in. However the reception called me at 11 am and asking me for check ou., seriously!!! Getting very nervous that time.
The location is close to everything. Metro station just few meters from the hotel, restaurant, wholesale market, money exchange, pharmacy etc.

RomaniaBeing so close to the airport, you could hear the airplanes before going to sleep (lucky for us we were very tired after the long days of tourism!) because the windows were not of good quality. We do not recommend to rooms at lower floor that are above the kitchen, because those guys make renovation repairs during night time and the hotel staff has al,ost no control over them!! We recommend the management a better training of the staff - one night we were surprised by a guy who entered in our apt (at 1A.M.) to check if the room is available or not - no knocking at the door, not ringing the door bell!! In no case a 4-star hotel, they need to make many improvements for that.
We were given two 1l bottles of water every day. The body lotion in the bathroom was wonderfull :) The location of 10: 100m from the subway + across the street from a shopping mall + close to the airport! Thanks Nigel, Zoha and the guys at the restaurant - always with a polite smile on their face.

RomaniaOld or negligent look in the apartment. Bad management and coordination between the hotel and the restaurant: we were waken up at 2, 3, 4 A.M. by renovation works made in the kitchen. And that was not only one night! We were there on vacation, therefore the nights were for sleeping, so we could sightsee and have fun during daylight.
The location was very good - 100m from the subway! The apartment was big enough: one ensuite bedroom, living and half-bathroom. Breakfast varied enough. The staff very polite: thanks Nigel for all the info and your kindness, thank you Zoha, plus the guys from the restaurant where we had breakfast (the tall guy who welcomed us every day, the omlette guy and the Asian looking man - sorry for not knowing your names)

QatarThe hotel will charge - block half of your payment from your card before your stay starts -Which is not mentioned in the Booking.com. Hotel says this is for as a guarantee. If dinner or lunch is included please remember that this is a set menu from a separate menu card, not the common standard menu from the hotel. Wifi will not work in the laptop until you get a separate password from the reception.
Metro station just opposite to the hotel. But always remember that Dubai metro is always house full. From the airport you can get a taxi by not more than 20 USD. Always remember that there there are other hotels with same name in the same area so please ensure to type the correct hotel address. Breakfast really good with lot of Arabic, middle east, western and Indian selections. Rooms are really big.

location for shopping is superb, plenty of malls about, Salah Al Din metro 2 minutes away, breakfast buffet, Lunch limited menu and dinner buffet, meals were limited for vegetarians. The restaurant staff were great they all bent over backwards to accommodate us as we are Hindu vegetarians, we requested meals and the Chef offered us a choice of food and he made what we wanted, a credit to the hotel . Rooms cleaned daily, swimming pool was ok. All round a great place to stay and great location.

It was a clean, very small space for a queen bed room. Twin beds room has better space. We opted for breakfast @35 dhms per person, it was good.
