There is a main road that runs very close to the property - we barely heard any traffic noise - there really weren’t any issues at all here.

Just a few feet from your door to the water, on a beautiful beach. The layout is very manageable, clear, well-lit walkways. Staff is ALWAYS close by for anything you need!

Two things to call out neither of which is addressable by this wonderful resort. First, the sanctuary cottages are so close to the road you get road noise and loud car speakers in the middle of the night. Second, the beaches are public so despite paying for a sanctuary cottage’s implied privacy, we had people from other hotels set up their spot for the day right in front of our cottage.

The privacy and quiet primarily. Second the staff was 99% amazing leaving only a couple of employees very deadpan. The spa was also great!

The resort is designed for ultimate relaxation !!! Sadly there was some construction of new wooden villas which was quite disturbing for any of the number 50 to 55 sanctuary pool villas and will likely be for the full season .

The resort has a fabulous low key boho vibe which we loved ! It’s the most perfect fly and flop . You relax as soon as you arrive to the gorgeous gardens and very welcoming staff . Definitely book a beachfront Villa for the experience .. it’s a though you have a little hut and private beach to yourself .. with lovely daybed on the beach and sun-loungers and drinks service all day . The breakfast and lunches are cooked fresh and great ! Turners beach is very gorgeous turquoise water beach which is stunning and tranquil in the morning and sunset but this sadly does attract cruise ship passengers and tour boats during the day . The restaurant is low key with subtle evening music which we enjoyed .

Original room we were given was badly in need of renovation and had we not been travelling with friends and seen their room we would not have asked to be moved. After some hassle we were moved and room was much better. Time for the older rooms to be renovated.

Breakfast and Lunch were very good although Lunch menu was the same for the whole week. Dinner was ok though choices were a little bland, very little variety or variation with vegetables and potatoes.

Rustic chic would be the best description but that doesn’t really describe the tropical setting adequately. The landscaping is divine, the beachfront welcoming and the public spaces highlight the calm, quiet surroundings. The staff is very accommodating and make sure that you have anything and everything you need while allowing you to enjoy your private oasis.

Tree frogs cacophony late at night - but you get used to it :)

Fabulous sandy beach just 20 yards away. Very relaxing stay in a homely, family style property of 60-70 guests with a good mix of ages from 20-80+ including honey-mooners and retired couples . There is a very friendly management team who did everything to make our double birthday celebration truly memorable. A variety of tasty food and refreshing cocktails and good quality evening entertainment

staff were rude. no good morning, not even a smile when first arriving and first thing In the morning when seeing at breakfast. food portions are like feeding a bird. my husband felt like a nuisance asking for more of anything so by the 2nd day he was just ordering 2 of everything.

Nothing but if I was being picky the only criticism would be to replace plastic beach beds with wooden ones & to remove the odd piece of rubbish / plastic occasionally seen in and around the rooms entrance / gardens.

It is on one of the most beautiful and peaceful beaches. Helpful & friendly staff. Delicious food. Rooms are tastefully furnished in local style, cool & wonderful with private plunge pools & sea views. Fresh filtered water provided everywhere with refillable bottles to minimise plastic waste.

Being on the end closer to the noise of road traffic at times. But we had a small speaker with music so didn’t notice it too much. Worth it for seclusion. Room 44-46 had the best seclusion. Maybe end of 53-55 could give seclusion too but not much shade. The Bali beds on the beach were so comfortable

We were in one of the end secluded beach front properties. It was absolutely perfect. Shaded and secluded. If you like more interaction with other guests then the garden rooms or newer beach front rooms on the other end which were nice also would provide that. Outdoor shower and plunge pool were amazing. Staff was friendly. Not fast but it’s island life.
