CanadaThere was nothing that I didn't like.
We loved the option to prepare our own meals. The number of residents were few, and we enjoyed the relative peace and quiet (NO "Party Hearty" twenty-somethings getting drunk and carousing!) We could relax and chat with the other guests by the pool. It felt private and personal. The staff was ever so helpful; they put us in touch with Shannon -- our taxi go-to for our entire stay. She told us all about the island and what to see while we were there. Everyone was very welcoming. Be advised, South Coast Horizons i(SoCoHo) is an Eco-reserve ... the beach is au-naturel... the mangrove swamp is still a swamp. But there is a lot of green open space, the ocean views from the villa decks are spectacular, and its's only a short walk to Morris beach.

CanadaWifi was excellent at times but signal strength would disappear for no apparent reason. Sofa and loveseat need updating as they are worn. TV was old and channel selection was limited. Mosquitos were a nuisance at dusk and in the mangrove area.
Quiet, rural location. No more than a handful of guests at any time. Grocery stores just a few minutes away by bus. Appliances worked well. Tap water was potable and tasty. King size bed was comfortable. Beautiful beaches (Morris and Turner) nearby and reachable with a short walk or bus ride.

The location and the grounds were very well landscaped and maintained. The swimming pool was excellent and a great place to meet fellow guests. Outdoor sitting space was excellent with fabulous view towards Monserrat. House keeping 3 times a week. Air con in the bedroom.

United KingdomWhen running the taps in the bathroom, the lights would flicker, and this could be quite distracting. The sink took some time time to drain the water, which meant you couldn't wash up much at a time. The security guard doesn't have access to the office so if you needed facilities he wasn't able to access them but would do his best to support regardless.
The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Every query was handled professionally and promptly.

United KingdomThe room and shower got quite Sandy/dirty as no daily housekeeping. We had to ask reception to come and empty the bin on day 3 as it was quite full up. However not a major issue. We did however have a knock on the door on day 4 (I think) with clean towels more loo paper etc. Had we not been in the room I think they would of come in to clean. We had the most basic cottage however in hindsight would book the upgraded one with more cooking facilities as found eating out to be expensive. That being said, we found a great taco shack opposite the road to Fryers beach which we ended up eating from 3 times, delicious and reasonably priced, would definitely recommend checking it out.
Wonderful quiet location, close to some beautiful beaches- would recommend renting a car, we used drive-o-matic and couldn’t fault. Booked a car and it came an hour later, they also dropped us off at the airport. Only a 15 min drive to jolly beach so near enough to some amenities without being right in the thick of it. Set in lovely grounds that were really well kept. Lots of friendly cats around! Comfy bed, hot shower, good AC, lovely balcony area. Felt very private and secluded- but I think we may have been the only one staying there, maybe because of Covid?! Didn’t use the pool area but it looked nice. Staff were very accommodating about us checking out later as we had a red eye flight and wanted to maximise beach time.
