Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThe price is a little bit expensive them it should be.
Really like the environment and atmosphere. I felt like at home. I could taste I really delicious dinner and lunch. I could red some book I'm the sofa, washed the stars and live with the real life with theme. The staff was amazingly polite and extremely professional and very helpful. The day after we had the unique opportunity to watch the elephant marine by the estancia private tour and we were alone. Stunning experience.

United StatesNot a problem for us but they were having generator issues so electricity was down for patches of time. Fit the rustic scheme to have candles.
Beautifully situated near Punta Tombo. Staff were absolutely welcoming and so helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night.

BelgiumVery peaceful place, in the middle of nowhere. Comfortable nicely furnished room. Dinner in the living room with other guests is great to get to know people. Food straight from the farm. We loved the remoteness, no connectivity with the rest of the world.

GermanyI think the Tour to the sea-elephants is to expensive. We didn‘t do the Tour because we saw a lot of them at Peninsula Valdes for free.
Very calm and nice Place. Half hour Drive to Punta Tombo. The room was spacious and we got fire in the Stove at the evening, so it was very cozy. The Food was really excellent and woke up with the Baby Guanaco at the terrace was amazing.

DenmarkThe cook Alexis was really good and so service minded. We had an excellent service with the food, the guiding in the area showing the sea elephants and the wool production. Kind and welcoming hosts. A stress less place where you can relax in the nature.

IsraelTHE ONLY THING I REGRET THAT WE DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO SPEND IN THIS MAGICAL KINGDOM, AND MAKE THE MOST OF OUR TOUR, THAT COMBINING IT WITH A TOUR TO PUNTA TOMBO, IS AN EXPERIENCE OF A LIFE TIME
THIS IS ONE OF OUR MOST EXCITING AND MEMORABLE STAYS FOR MANY YEARS OF TRAVEL. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, THE LOCATION, THE ACCOMODATION, THE DELICIOUS FOOD AND WIND, AND OF COURSE THE MAGICAL HOST GUIDO. BUT THE TOP OF ALL WAS THE TOUR TO THE SEA ELEPHANTS BEACH A TOUR YOU SHULD NOT MISS, AND WILL NEVER FORGET !!!

United KingdomBreakfast options could have been a little more generous
We loved our stay here which was very quiet and with stunning scenery. The chef cooked great hearty meals in the evening and was also our very friendly nguide on an incredible walk to see the elephant seals on the estancia's private reserve. A great place to stay to be near Punta Tomba to see the penguins. The rooms were cosy and comfortable with a lovely dining area and living area for evening games and drinks.

United KingdomIn the back shed, we were shown animal furs of pumas and wild cats that they had killed on the farm with bear traps. I counted 4 puma and there were too many wild cats for me to count. Apparently from just a few months. They asked us not to take pictures as was an issue with the government conservationists. I understand the animals kills their livestock and that is why they do this but made us feel sick. We had a big issue cost to value, and the communication around the cost of everything right up until the checkout point. Felt like we were taken advantage of tourists. Booked the stay through booking.com with a rate of 152.000 pesos - Guido billed us 185.000 as he said adding tax. From there everything was billed in dollars (not sure that is legal?) and if paying in Peso was converted at the official rate of 850 to 1 USD - not the official tourist rate of paying 1115 you receive when paying with a foreign Credit/Debit card. (30% more expensive) As he only takes cash you also don’t get the 21% VAT taken off the bill as a foreign tourist. Lunch and Dinner cost and extra $100 excluding drinks for two people. More expensive than a high end restaurant in Buenos Aries and the food was good home cooking standard. If you stay here ask for the costs of any meals & drinks upfront. If you wanted to go for a walk on the farm, it would be guided and $70 per person. One of the walks offered was to see elephant seals - we saw them free the day before in a national park. No internet / no AC. Hot water in the showers but our cold tap didn’t work.
The location was close to the penguin colony The chef Sandro was very friendly and made good home cooked standard food There was a friendly cat and lama
