went at 1pm and they didn’t ask me for documents, credit card.. when I went at 3pm (they won’t give you keys before that time as I saw it) to collect the keys the receptionist asked me for those things which should have done before. there is no tea or coffee in the room but they have some next to the lobby area. considering the price of the room, charging AR$300 for a coffee pot I find it a very cheap move, rooms should have Nespresso machines. they do provide water as they have a cold/hot dispenser which is handy. only street parking is available and my car was damaged overnight (we stayed for 2 nights) someone damaged the drivers rate mirror, and they said it was safe. I was not a big fan of my room either..

The sculpture on the wall in the main courtyard was the worst thing about the hotel. Incredibly ugly but my only negative about the place.

Wifi was weak and hot water pressure was very weak.

Behind a regular door on the street is such a beautiful historic property with a lovely courtyard and logia balconies covered in grape vines. Check in and check out was simple, staff spoke decent English. Parking is on the street, we parked right outside the hotel. Our second floor room was decorated in traditional style but with mod cons. Air conditioning was very very good, room was dark as the only light came in through the French doors. Mini bar fridge is tiny, no kettle in the room, but can always order tea or coffee at the front desk and enjoy at a table in the courtyard. Very good breakfast of fruit, toast, pastries, ham, cheese, scrambled eggs was served by staff rather than buffet style. Across the street is a great little Panifico convenience store for snack and around the corner is the main town square full of restaurants and bars.

I just don't think that it's worth the price bearing in mind the room is small, dark and doesn't provide too much privacy bearing in mind the only window points to the main patio. Due Covid restrictions, breakfast is very limited and basic.

Breakfast was tiny, no choice and really bad coffee. Room was ok but the shower was almost not working so only bath was an option. Couldn’t really keep the windows open as the traffic below was horrific and the noise because of that was always present. Hotel had good ingredients but they were not used ( fire pit, courtyard).

Our room was a bit dingy (triple) and at night the lamps that light up the communal courtyard shone so brightly it was hard to sleep. Front desk staff were polite enough but not as helpful as those of their sister hotel in Salta. Also, the name ‘wine’ is misleading - there isn’t anything to single this place out especially for wine, except that everything in Cafayate has the word ‘wine’ in it. If you want an actual wine experience then you’re probably better off staying in a winery on the outskirts of town. All in all a nice little hotel but not as smart as the one in Salta.

there’s a Nespresso machine in the patio with no sign or explanation but when you use it a staff member rushes out to tell you that you have to pay. Really annoying and cheap. Shower needs updating.

Almost no hot water pressure for shower; when we reported it, it was noted but no further action. We stayed at the Patios hotel the night before for almost the same price and this hotel is nowhere near as nice.
