The landlady was most helpful and accommodating! We appreciated the possibility to leave our luggage in the property for a few hours after the check-out. Well equipped kitchen was a huge convenience. Nice view from the window :) Spacious bathroom. Everything new and clean.

The room was far too hot and I couldn't see a way to adjust the temperature. It was a remote checkin (keybox) and it is nicer to have a personal welcome.

Our room was quirkily decorated (Mozart theme) and was a lot more original than many Austrian accommodations. There was a bath (as well as a shower) which was a nice treat. The shared kitchen was a real benefit.

Had a little trouble to get in touch with the host. The confirmation email said that someone from the place will meet us in front of the house but nobody showed up. Had to asked a lady who lives near the station to call the host because I can’t make a phone call but have data only. That lady was very nice and helpful.

The location is perfect. Right next to the train station. Super convenient!

Loved the location. Right by the train station and the trains were quiet. Loved the porch. Would have enjoyed an on site washing machine. For our cloths- but we felt like we were in a castle the space was so large

The house is just in front of the Obertraun Dachsteinhöhlen train station. Bus station to hallstatt lahn js just next to it, and a restaurant with reasonable price is just 300m away. There is a cafe at Haus Bellevue too! We were warmly welcome by the host upon arrival. We love the house, and everything here. Definitely recommend to stay here if you plan to stop a night after visiting hallstatt lahn. The view from the room is so beautiful. Once again, thanks to the lovely host

Location was perfect. 150 ft from train station and 150 ft from bus stop. Only 5 minute walk to ferry for Halstatt. The view from the room was spectacular. The owner was very kind and was always available to answer any questions. Check in was easy.. The bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. The train changes direction here so doesn't go straight past, making it very quiet. We never heard it once.

Very nice property in a delightfully quiet area (rather than in Hallstat which seemed too busy for us). The room was comfy and there was a lovely bathtub which is always welcome to see after a long day. Walking from here was great so we spent a couple of hours outside from right outside the front door. The communal kitchen was good for breakfast (nobody else around) and the pizza place down the road was an easy walk and a delicious meal.

The house is located right outside Obertraun station, which was really helpful and allowed us to catch 7am train which otherwise would have been difficult. The town really has just 1 bus / hour, so would have been difficult to catch train if we were staying a bit far. The 1 bus/hour was not an issue either while visiting 5 fingers or Hallstatt. But just so that you know last bus from 5 fingers is at 6 and from Hallstatt is at 7 which I felt is a bit too early for tourist place.

If you like antics and history, you must visit the place! The house is 150 years old at least, the owner lady was very friendly and informative!

Check in time is 4pm. I feel its a bit too late. The only downside experience I had was I waited around 10 minutes outside the hotel because no one was opening for me even if I buzzed many times. I had to rang the property owner in order for me to get in which she did but made me wait outside when it was rainy and chilly.

I love my room Sisi. Love everything about it. Best location for me to visit Halstatt if you want escape the busy area of Halstatt to get a stay. Good mountain view, just in front of Obertraun Dachsteinhohlen train station and just 1 minute walk to bus station that goes to main Halstatt. The room is very well decorated with royalty figures and furnishings including a chandelier. Window view is perfect overlooking the mountain. I love how it is self check in and check out hotel. Youve got a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook. My only regret is not staying for long because I had to leave early in the morning.

The only thing we lacked were drying racks where we could hang wet towels. The price is relatively more expensive than other apartments in the region

The apartments are very spacious, perfectly furnished. There is everything you need for a family vacation
