There was still some construction on our floor (2 rooms that are still in renovation or something of that sort) and we didn't know in advance (we just woke up to drilling around 8:15)

We only stayed for one night and we loved it. The location worked great for us, the view of the mountains & the castle is spectacular, the breakfast was great and varied. The man that runs the hotel is very friendly. The room was super clean and comfortable with a cozy bed. Very clean and the late check in worked perfect for us.

Great location with a view of the castle right from your room. We went to celebrate my wife’s birthday so they were kind enough to arrange a cake & candle as per my request. Breakfast was also nice.

When it was cold outside, it was warm inside The room was comfortable with spectacular views And the team, whilst small were very friendly and helpful.

A spectacular location with an extremely friendly and professional staff and good breakfast included. The walks in this area are fabulous and there is a shuttle bus that you can book that can take you to most places in the immediate vicinity, if you don’t have a car. They do run to a timetable, but you do really need to book them and they will pick you up and drop you off at Der Burgblick Expect to slow your pace in Werfen, it’s a great place for making you take things slow. If you’re gonna be using the shuttlebus I would definitely get the week pass as it’s only about €13. Waking up to the views of the Castle every morning, and seeing the lights in the town below, every evening was wondrous

The hotel cannot do anything about this, but the road to the hotel is rather steep. We have a rear-wheel drive truck (wasn't the best purchase before coming to Europe) so we slid a few times. Be careful when it has rained/snowed if you have a similar vehicle.

This hotel checked all the boxes for my family and I. The parking was spacious which helped alleviate any anxiety with us having a truck. We were also able to bring our dog and he had plenty of places to relieve himself outside the hotel. Lastly, the cleanliness was wonderful.

An absolutely breathtaking scenery from this fantastic adults-only accomodation. Views on Schloss Hohenwerfen and the Sound of Music's "Do-Re-Mi" meadow in the distance. The host was very friendly and service-minded. The room was clean and comfortable. Delicious and royal breakfast in the cosy restaurant of the Gasthof featuring the stunning views on the castle and the rest of the scenery. We absolutely recommend this place and would love to return sometime.
