Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

EstoniaPillows were little bit too soft for us and there were no pillow menu or other pillows in the room. Very little space to storage your clothes, we were 3 persons and we needed to keep our staff in the suitcases. Room were hot, even with the air-condition working. Too little electrical plugs in the room, nowadays everyone has mobile phone, tablet, smart watch etc.
Hotel location is just super, restaurant, breakfast and service were just perfect. Bed were comfortable, also the extra bed were comfortable. Minibar selection were good. Shower gel and balsam were nice also.

IsraelUnfortunately, the air conditioning in our room was a significant downside. Despite the otherwise pleasant stay, the inability to adjust the temperature made it uncomfortable.
The hotel was in a fantastic location, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Overall, our experience was delightful, and we appreciated the excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. Also the thoughtful gesture of fruits and chocolates in our room. We'll be back!

United StatesThere needs to be more privacy with the toilets in the rooms. Also the AC did not work when there and they did not inform us of this when they did the upgrade of the room that we did appreciate. Dragan was extremely helpful and brought a fan to the room. The staff was excellent. It is just important to be up front of the situation of the rooms.

United KingdomCourtyard view rooms are not looking over a courtyard but an apartment block opposite . Really off putting and not pleasant to view . There is no courtyard only a light well ! Our first room was like a sauna with aircon not working . Second room offered was cooler ! Lighting too dark and rooms need a refurb . Hotel needs an upgrade
The location is perfect for exploring Vienna Bed was extremely comfortable and fabulous pillows . Clean and beautiful view of the Cathedral from the bar / restaurants Sublime meal in the restaurant . Best food we have eaten in a very long time . Lots of lovely cafes, restaurants and bars all within metres of the hotel .

United KingdomIt was all good overall, but the reception is really weird - just a small desk, looks messy and the two ladies working the morning shift are not trained well. For a 5 star hotel I do expect the reception to be on top of their game. They also make you enter your own data upon checking in, it‘s not a big deal I just thought it was a bit odd.
Location was amazing, rooms were nicely made, modern and spacious. Beds were really comfortable.

United KingdomThere is no private secure WiFi network within the hotel. You have to use a public network WiFi which is not secure. I found this very unusual for a hotel of this superior standard. They should be offering more English speaking channels on the TV, particularly as English is the second language in Austria and most local people speak fluent English.
Location excellent. Rooms excellent. Reception staff and house-keeping were friendly, respective, and very helpful.

SpainIt’s a boutique hotel, the reception is on higher floor and at the entrance you have a feeling of insecurity. At this price you would expect it to be more luxurious as many other hotels in Vienna but the hallways are just dull and depressing. Also you can’t lock the door while inside, they said that for security reasons even though the majority of the hotels have this option.
The location is just perfect, in the city center with amazing views. The staff is very kind and helpful and the breakfast is in a restaurant with incredible views while the food is fresh and tasty
