The toilet was in a separate room to the bathroom where the sink was but it was only slight issue.

The location was perfect very close to main sites. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, had chocolate on Easter Sunday felt special.

The lift could be a little slow at times.

Very well located in the centre of Venice and easy to reach by public transport (the underground is about 4 minutes away). The room was large, comfortable, quiet and clean. We didn't order breakfast but complimentary hot drinks and some fruit were available during the day. It was a good price and suited our needs perfectly.

Poor receptionist's attitude (Never say sorry even though troubled situation) My room keys didn't work on the next day of arrival. For the first time, receptionist explained I seemed to put my keys near magnetic devices - while I didn't do so -, but when he brought new keys to my room and the keys also didn't work. He promised to be back soon with new keys. Even though I had had hard tour schedule all day long, my wife and I had to wait for him to bring new keys. Several minutes later, I went to reception desk to get new keys, but he says "I try to fix the problem and the root cause is tech problem... You have to be more patient (until I fix this tech iproblem)!" I've lost my words to say. At least, he had say he is sorry for any inconveniences caused first, but never didn't say that. Few minuted later again, he came back to my room with new keys with sorry.

On one day the rubbish collection made a huge noise out the front of the hotel between 645-710 am as the truck seemed to stop there and everything from all around brought to it. Screeching metal at that time of day was not ideal. This was a downside of the location! The next day was fine so maybe it was a luck of the draw The bathroom is old and tired. No fan. Shower is in the bath, with fittings that are broken and need replacing. Take the plug out completely to avoid the bath filling up when you shower! Would be nice to have bottles of water in the room as it is dry. Take a bottle with you so you can fill it up in the dining area.

The location is fantastic. 3 minute walk from St Stephan’s. The bed was comfortable. The room was warm Quirky art on the wall that didn’t work but was, well, quirky. The staff were helpful and pleasant The breakfast was fine although the bread and pastries were not totally fresh, and the orange juice was not fresh Tea and biscuits offered in the dining area at all times were nice - thank you.

Unusually for me, nothing really to complain about. Replenishing of the coffee pods in our room could have been a lot better.

Very comfortable and relaxed hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Not with a modern wow factor but with everything we wanted and working. Even had a decent wardrobe with plenty of hanging and shelf space. Clean with a great shower etc. Plenty of controllable heating Free fruit tea and biscuits in the afternoon in the dining/sitting room. Central location excellent for us to visit the xmas markets Very good breakfast

Its location was excellent- situated close to the U bahn and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Right in the middle of beautiful Christmas lights.

My only complaint was the sloping ceiling. I ended up banging my head as I was arranging some things near the bed.

It was bad luck but our bathroom door got broken on Friday and the entire weekend it remained as such (not at all convinient) but again - bad luck. Breakfast was good but the omelette was almost cold in its pan (2 days in a row).

Location is perfect ; staff very friendly and helpful; room is quite large and very clean and breakfast was ok.

The heating was quite low and sometimes we were cold. (Not in the bathroom). The rooms were not so well isolated(a little bit of noise from top and side rooms). Television channels for foreigners very few.

Room was too cold, below 20 degrees and it took some time to warm up. Could be preheated a bit more for a booking in advance.
