How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing. It was great.
Lovely modern hotel in a well-located part of Graz - an easy walk to anywhere in the city centre and about a 15 minute walk to the train station. I had a HUGE room - it was very comfortable and feels newly renovated. Well-insulated from street noise - very quiet. The room and common areas were clean. Breakfast was also very good. Friendly staff.

More smaller lamps in the bedrooms and the kitchen would be better instead of the main light. Otherwise everything was great.
Excellent location, spacious apartman with useful equipment, quiet, clean and tidy rooms, fair breakfast, smiley staff. Parking belonging to the hotel is just on the other side of the street.

If I had to find something to criticize, the curtains could be bigger to block the sun better in the morning - I would have loved to sleep in in the comfy bed!
The cleanest hotel I've staid in in a while. Room was very spacious, bed huge. Location is excellent, close everything. I couldn't hear anything from street even though it was a Saturday night. Definitely staying here again!

Breakfast could be better. No cream in the bathroom.
The location is amazing. A few minutes by foot from the Kunsthaus. A room done up well with a lot of space and nice interiors. Breakfast is basic.

All ! Availability and hospitality. Modern and well kept room: big room with a wonderful and clean bathroom. Quiet room. Great WiFi connection. Great service at breakfast and big variety for food and beverages (only one type of cake, no croissant for instance, but for me it is totally fine). Very central location of the hotel. I strongly recommend it !

This is by far the best hotel I have ever been to! The room is nice and specious, the bathroom is to die for! This is the best place you can book and it’s a steal!

Wifi is not great- for example doesn’t work at all at the breakfast area…

We supposed to have two separate bathrooms, but we had one bathroom without toilet and one with JUST toilet, no sink in it. Our bathroom looked like it has not been finished, definitely didn't look like on photos, there wasn't bathtub, no tiles Too much empty space, there is not place for rest, like chairs, small sofa or similar. It was pretty cold, also. WiFi poor, there are regions where is good and bad.
Comfortable beds, huge TV in both rooms, very good breakfast

Nice location in central part of the old city. Hotel provided us cheap and safe parking right in front of the main entrance. Staff was helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, we had everything we'd need.

No coffee making facilities in the room as we had a lower grade room. Bianca went to some length to find us a kettle. And access from the reception to the lift is a little difficult for someone in a wheelchair or mobility handicapped. My wife is and whilst she found the three steps manageable it was not easy. Breakfast was expensive in our view at 17.50 euros each.
Excellent location very close to centre with reasonably good access to the station. The room was excellent too, exceptionally clean and bright and, with the windows closed , quiet. But the best thing was the staff. Bianca set new standards for customer service, with Manuela close behind, and the young lady who had prepared our room was equally kind and helpful. All service granted with a smile. Well done all and thank you.

Missing spoons in room to stir coffee, nothing else
Room was really nice and spacious as it was Junior suite, also very quiet with nice street view. Staff was very good and helpful specially lady in charge of breakfast area. She recommended few places to visit. Breakfast was really nice as well

Hotel is located in the city center and it is close to all main sightseeing sites in the old town and to a tram stop if you want to go to Eggenberg Schloss. A great advantage is parking garage, which is close to the hotel. Breakfast was very good

They could have included the Wifi-code in the late-night check-in info as it was a general password anyway. I got it in the next morning. Would have saved some mobile data.
