Nothing. Everything was exceptional!

The breakfast variety and quality of food is extraordinary! We were in the heaven again and so our daughter! The biotope is beautiful and water was so clear and refreshing! This was our second stay at the Garten-Hotel Ochensberger and we will definitely come again. Thank you for making our weekend so special!

Maybe little bit too traditional decoration for us, but it is our subjective feeling, and can satisfy other customers.

Very nice service, nice Spa area with four diferent kind of sauna with natural light, perfect relaxing area, their own water source available all over the area. Amazing breakfast.

The evening meal was very disappointing, no flavour and very plain. Not what we expected from the pictures and reviews. We would definitely stay there again but only with the breakfast package!

The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. A beautiful hotel, lovely facilities. The breakfast was delicious, which was such a contrast to the meal the previous evening.

Dinner was not my favourite. Didn't like the cooking style and the portions were small, and no bread and butter served before dinner, or a welcome nibble, as is used in alpine hotels. The waitress was however very kind as to cancel the dessert from my bill, as I left it over (don't order the apfel strudel, it's 90% dough and 10% apples, you have to look for them with a lamplight...). In general, but that's only a gut feeling, all the staff kind of seemed unhappy to be there. They never smiled, and they talked in a whisper, like in a convent. Also at the restaurant, they were speaking among themselves in unhappy tones. But they were always helpful and kind to the guest, for sure. Pool not swimmable, too small for that. But nice to have.

Great rooms, wellness and breakfast. 4 saunas, pool (but too small) and a small but usable gym. Nice location at the foot of the Alps.

In the 3 night we were there, there was no chance of getting a massage at all which was unfortunate and in such a "peak season" I was surprise there were not more masseuse available. Our room (217/218) was above the kitchen and close to the main road and morning deliveries can be disturbing as well as staff taking breaks outside. We booked very last minute so those were the availabilities - ask for a room on the garden.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and always ready to translate - all info is in German and its a hotel that seems to attract German speakers, which is one reason why we choose to stay in a local accommodation (the menu was in English but that was about it). The pond is really very nice to swim in and the spa facilities looked quite complete. The breakfast was very good and lots of natural products. Bathrobes, slippers available, candles in the evening in the hallway, little details that add a special touch.

As people of color, we couldn't help but notice the differences in how we were treated compared to other guests. The hotel staff, regrettably, did not extend the same level of friendliness and hospitality to us as they did to other guests. This lack of warmth and respect made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout our stay. While we understand that these incidents might not be representative of the entire town or its inhabitants, it nevertheless made our stay in this particular area of Austria a challenging experience.

The hotel's facilities, while not the most modern, were adequate for our needs. The rooms were reasonably comfortable, and we appreciated the amenities provided. Although some areas showed signs of wear and tear, we understood that this was due to the hotel's age. Despite this, our room was clean and tidy, and we had no major complaints in that regard. (ps: no ac in some rooms) The breakfast buffet deserves special praise. We thoroughly enjoyed the wide variety of options available, which catered to different dietary preferences. The quality and taste of the food were excellent, and it provided a great start to our day.
