Great stay in Sankt Johann im Pongau. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Very clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast is delicious. There is a storage room for ski boots and skis which is great. Just a short (steep!) walk from the town center where there are plenty of restaurants, shops, bars,... We will come back again to enjoy Austria in Winter and Summer.

Actually: nothing. We had to look at the price and we got everything we expected and more. The rooms weren't huge but comfortable, but the lounge, bar and restaurant were so cosy, we spent many hours there, along with some other guests.

We especially liked the warm welcome and the friendly staff and owners. We immediatly felt at home. We also enjoyed the no-nonsense dinner. Nothing fancy so the kids would like it, and yet always surprising and perfectly served. We would surely recommend this hotel to others and will be coming back here.

There is nothing to complain to, everything was great. Clean and cozy room, comfortable bed, great localization, very good breakfasts. When you go for a quick holiday you need a stay I had. And 24h open fridge with cold beer included when we arrived at 2am was perfect :) Thank you and hope to see you again

Very nice place. Everything quite new, very clean, and super friendly staff. The breakfast was also good. We had a room with mountain view and it was super beautiful. Would come again :)

I liked everything. Starting with a homely atmosphere in a restaurant, where I listened with interest to a group of men, but unfortunately I did not understand a word. :D And ends with the smile of the hostess. I warmly recommend.

It's hard to find fault with this little gem if I had to be super picky I would say the only thing that could be improved was the signs at breakfast are only in German and didn't really know what they meant. But that as I say is being super picky.

What an amazing place. Host is amazing. Best sleep I've had in a long time. Super comfy room. Lovely balcony with views of the Alps! Booked in for half board, dinner was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent.

Arrived in the morning and was greeted by hostess Christina. Left my luggage and changed to my skiing clothes and went up the. Easy access to Skibus. The room was nice and clean. Slept well in the bed. Lovely breakfast and always smiling and greeting staff.

The Owner was very nice and willing to help. Also there were Romanian and Hungarian language speakers which were very helpful because my parents doesn't speak such a good English.

Das Marcello is easily accessible from the bahnhof At Johann im Pongau and easy walk back into town. Christina is a great host, warm, welcoming and super helpful and accommodating. The room was great for two people, with a cute little balcony and comfy bed, plus hot shower with strong water pressure. The dining area is wonderful. Breakfast delicious and lots of options for dinner. Hope to be back and stay with this family again.

The only negative thing I can say that St.Johann im Pongau is not necessarily an exciting, vibrating town, but you can find all the important services there.

The most important requests are fine. Probably one expert cousine touch the typology of buffet but for me I match with a bread butter krauter very peacefully smoothly.

The long passage on the river is something special, very meditative. Lodge full light is complete atmosphere for events! Kristine is very polite!

Internet connection was poor and dropping time by time.

Very friendly place driven by family. Good selection of meals for breakfast. One menu for dinner, but it always contained soup, salát bar, main meal and dessert.
