How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There is no kitchen. Have to walk 15 minutes from Bad ischl hbf to the hotel.
Polite and friendly staff, the woman waited for us untill 11pm. The room is confortable and clean. Restroom access and luggage storage before and after your stay.

I wanted to have a certain for each bed for privacy.
The staff were really kind and helpful. They recommended me a place for hiking and that maintain was amazing!!

Even though I appreciate her staying up till 10pm to receive us, she wasn’t the most friendly ones. Some irking statements put forth against people from a particular nation is not what is entertained.
The rooms were clean and tidy. The host too waited till 10pm so that we could arrive. Appreciate that.

Comfortable beds, great shower, provided body-shampoo wash was very good. Good sized lockers. Staff was very helpful. Fresh towels every morning! Small kitchen in downstairs community room if you want to cook or make a cup of tea. Canaries singing next to check in!

One of the hosts at the reception was not really welcoming, we felt like we were bothering her which is not nice when you work in a hotel with tourists. But another host man was very friendly. He gave us recommendations and was very flexible to let us leave our luggage in the hotel despite it being closed from 1pm to 5pm. Thank you for that!
The dormitory is comfortable and very clean. A few minutes away from the city center.

Online Check-in option, you can register in advance. Nice space. Friendly hosting. Great location. Included towels =) Found around a nice sports shop, supermarket, gastropub with nice food. I totally recommend this place.

The room I am in was literally beside the road it was extremely noisy.
I like how it was cleaned and the bed was made everyday and towel was replaced with new one everyday.

€14 for breakfast while also paying €36 a night for just a bed is a bit much.
Location wss very nice, you are close to many nice hikes and nature attractions.

No AC, but we were given a fan when we asked. No kettle., no fridge. It's a bit of an uphill slog from the train and bus station. One useful bit of information that is not in the ad. The number 551 bus from the station stops just over the road. The stop name is BauerPark.
Staff were great. Breakfast really good. The SpoorHerd pub just nearby is good for dinner. The cake shop by the river is fabulous.

A little bit far from the bus station
The room is big and clean. I stayed 3 nights and there were only 2~3 peoples stayed in the room, so it’s totally worth. Staffs are super nice, especially the young gentleman, he helped me a lot and lend me a usb cable when I found mine is broken, highly appreciated his kindness.

Dont have enough parking place but it was ok they helped to find. :) There is no elevator but it's not a problem if you are in a good condition.
The location is not far away from the center. The food is amazing.
