Although it is in a convenient location, being right by the train station can be noisy.

Excellent location right by the main train station convenient for travelling to and from Salzburg. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

After a long day out sightseeing it would have been nice to have to have an English language TV channel other than the news. But this is minor in relation to all the plus points for the hotel.

Very comfortable and quiet room. Tea/coffee and water available in the room, and snack vending machine in the corrider. Felt very secure with key entry in the lift. Lovelyhot/cold buffet breakfast with a super view. Right next to the station and about 15 mins walk to the old town.

A pool would be great, but I understand the logics of the layout and postition of the hotel. And one more thing. Breakfast incuded beens which is partly why I picked the this hotel: I know it sounds weird, but I really love beans for breakfast I was upset the day 2 when they changed beans to mixed vegetables salad. I asked for the beans /normally in 4 * hotels even though they change breakfast menu, item there is always some bits from each general breakfast menu items in the fridge/, the amswer came when I was leaving and the waiter said "There are no beans in the kitchen, BTW". Anyway, this is nothing major, but small things can make guests write and say huge compliments, so please keep that in mind.

Chemistry in this hotel works perfect. Really customer based hotel.

The room was very hot but the temperature control did not seem to make much difference. The shower. The handheld shower head had hot water but the overhead one dripped cold water. The controls didn’t seem to switch from the handheld spray to the overhead one.

Excellent location…minutes from the train station and walking distance to the old town. The bed was very comfortable.

I was slightly disappointed that I wasn’t informed during my check-in about the spa and wellness centre or else I would have gone earlier there. Other than that, a very nice hotel for short term stay.

The Front Office staff were very kind and helpful. I changed rooms as the first one was smelling of cigarette and the bathroom towels were smelling as well. The second room was very clean. The breakfast was rich in food and the view of Salzburg was spectacular! The spa and wellness centre was my favourite part of the hotel: there was a steam room and a sauna and sun beds with panoramic views of the city and the Alps.

Wifi wasn't very reliable due to its slow speed. Also, it would have made our stay better if there are english channels available aside from those 2 news channel.
