There was no shampoo, nor soap in the bathroom; no bulb in one of the bed lamp. Strong tobacco smell in the room. There was a lot of "garbage like" stuff all over the house, felt messy. Breakfast doesn't cost 10 euros at all. Strange place with no care about guests.

The room was interesting because of the decor and the brilliant view of the Austrian mountains. The owner and the staff were always helpful and friendly. The hotel is situated in an area of Salzburg which has many shops and cafes

The pillowcase and sheet were a bit damp and smelled as if they had been cooped up in a dryer for a long time and not fully dry. No hairdryer and no one around to ask for one. There was a laundry machine and dryer in the bathroom but I never got to use them as they were always full of sheets (often just sitting there for a long time).

Quiet location with easy access to buses. Good shower.

It's a 400 years old Hause, it's has a lot of stories and original construction... this is not a problem at all... But... it could be much more cleaned! A lot of dust, the bed linen was torned...

It's close to the old center, about 10 minutes walking.

More options for food for breakfast? The large family room wasn't so comfy perhaps it was too many beds squeezed into a room. The other single/ double rooms I peeked into look good.

Breakfast was simple but adequate, coffee was awesome. Very friendly n hospitable staff.

Wifi was iffy at best; hard to communicate about trash pickup in the room; confusing about parking situation with rental car being that it's a residential area.

Good location, super cool old building, lots of old world charm - option for food on site (restaurant prices reasonable) - friendly staff, walkable to old town and Christmas Markets (weather permitting)

The refurbishment was made many years ago, and some places looks old and broken. No allocated parking, need to park your car on the street and change parking clocks every 3 hours. If missed penalty 25 euro + transaction fee 12 euro. But personal could change parking clock for you if you leave keys from your car.

Very good place for stay. Everything in walk distance. This is an old apartment with their own history. Looks like a museum. Comfortable beds. Historical atmosfere.

Even though it was an old hotel, it would have been nice to have a mini refrigerator in the room and some glasses. There were only 2 plastic cups in the bathroom. There was a tea kettle but no tea or coffee or coffee cups. I don't know if they expected you to ask for them. They did have a restaurant on premises but we didn't go there. We don't watch TV on vacation, but there isn't one in the rooms if that's important to you.

It was a quaint, about 200 year old hotel that had been a home for an archbishop or some religious order. There are religious articles and statues throughout. It was very clean and the staff very helpful especially with the parking issue. If you like old European you would like it.

An escalator or elevator would have been helpful especially to people who have problems of mobility.

We really like the wat the staff went out of their way to make us feel like family. The room was very spacious. We had access to the bus and old city.

It was a 20 minute walk to sites in old town. There is a lot of catholic art up in the hallways which may not be comfortable for everyone.

There is no kitchen in accommodation, just kettle, no mugs, really small fridge, nothing else, breakfast is provided. Problem with parking space on the street in addition you can stay only 3h big issue

Actually no personal contact to the staff Broken ventilator and the answer was no I cannot give you another ventilator => not a very good way to treat paying customers

Clean Bed and Shower Neutral: An old house with old furnitures is not every ones taste For me it was okay Checkin just via telephone is a bit weird

I'm sure the staff was friendly but I barely interacted with them. And I could never tell when the downstairs restaurant was going to be open or not. I'm not even sure if it was a restaurant, but it looked like one? It was a bit odd. But there were other restaurants within walking distance so it wasn't that bad.

It was a little out of the center, so quiet and not crowded. Still near bus stops and fun restaurants and bakeries.

The decor and clutter might not be to everyone’s taste. For me it was fine.

An eccentric property like staying in a family home. Basic accommodation, but homely. Johannes and co were very welcoming and helpful, but the accommodation was basic so pls expect that. Certainly good value for the Salzburg Festival and not far to walk to the Domplatz etc.

The patio/restaurant outside was a bit dark and could use some lights during the darker hours at night.

I liked the small and personal feel to it, including the old furniture.
