We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWhilst the room was very comfortable with everything you would need in a hotel room, parts of it were showing signs of neglect, and cleanliness could have been better: light switches were dirty with dust and dirt in the sockets ( clearly had not been cleaned out for a very long time); switches were showing signs of wear and tear; shower cleanliness not great with mould around the shower screen dividing it from the toilet. Some tlc is needed in the bathroom area, for sure. Human hairs ( not ours) stuck in the threads of one of the bathrobes were not pleasant! This is not what I would expect from any hotel, let alone a 5*.
Fantastic view from the balcony; extremely comfortable and huge bed; comfortable armchairs; quietness; bathrobes and slippers provided; beautiful grounds and amazing location; lovely breakfast area out on the covered terrace - loved having breakfast with the sparrows; lots of choice for a delicious, filling breakfast, even for my diet ( it was great to see oat, almond and soya milk available). Despite being near the main road, the hotel and room were quiet- something I had been a little concerned about on booking. It is easy to walk into Estepona from the hotel along the promenade, but it is a long one! The receptionist, David, is brilliant! He arranged for cava and chocolates to be sent to my room for my birthday - thank you!

United KingdomThe staff in the spa were not as welcoming and the treatments we had were rushed and not very relaxing. The spa area is in need of a little maintenance.
The welcome at reception and general staff at the hotel where fabulous. The sea front location of the hotel and the beautifully maintained surrounding gardens where perfect. Spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds and quality linens. An abundance of choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

GibraltarThe spa was fully booked on the day that I arrived so I decided I would use the indoor pool instead but this wasn't possible as a child had vomitted in the indoor pool. I was able to use the spa on the 2nd day and the indoor pool.
Beautiful hotel in a great location only a 45 minute walk from the port of Estepona, lovely clean & spacious room.

GibraltarWanted to book a massage and spa circuit but was unfortunately fully booked so will book in advance in future. Could do with more facilities for kids, e.g. a games room / arcade would be have been nice and maybe a small convenience shop.
Good sized family room, great view. Breakfast buffet had a good selection. Heated Indoor pool was fun for the kids as too cold to use the outdoor pool. Ordered Room Service for convenience as we were travelling with a 1 year old and found the staff really helpful.

SpainThe food! I have stayed in all kinds of hotels but the food for a 5 star is not good… we struggled both at breakfast and dinner as we had half board. The only other complaint is the mosquitos! I went in February and the hotel was full of mosquitos which isn’t the season so made me wonder why
The rooms are really spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Was very clean. Only down fall was the pressure of the water was very hard to shower
