Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location. Close to the U-bahn, the Schonbrunn residence can be reached on foot. Good breakfasts, room spacious enough for a comfortable stay. Helpful staff.

BelarusBe careful with their guarantee transactions! Do not really understand what it is needed for while I requested to pay in cash during the check-in. They agreed and requested to come later and meanwhile, charged my card 200 euro. Moreover, during the check-out I had to pay the whole amount for stay in regardless of this guarantee withdrawn from my account! The problem is that this payout has not been reversed for almost a week. Very unpleasant experience! Please watch your payment method prior to the check-in! Unfortunately, there is a sophisticated and complicated system since I am still waiting for my money back!
The hotel as well as its room was indeed clean and tidy, quite comfortable to stay for a couple of days. The best advantage is its location, very convenient to commute to the downtown and pretty fast.

FinlandThere should be some kind of minifridge or minibar to keep drinks and snacks. We had to open the big window and keep our drinks on the outside windowsill to keep them cold. Another thing was the safe deposit box which didn't quite work in the room. Sometimes it accepted the code we set and sometimes there was endless amount of error messages which was strange.
Good location with public transport available near by. Breakfast was good and it was nice way to start the day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was cozy and clean. Would visit again!
