Simple but clean and comfortable. As I arrived late, the restaurant was closed. But one of the staff members went the extra mile and prepared a quick meal for me. It was such a nice gesture. Breakfast had yoghurt with fresh fruit (strawberries). Very yummy.

A bit expensive for my taste

Clean room, comfortable beds, hotel parking, handy facilities (lights, electrical sockets, spacious bathroom), very good breakfast, close to the elegant and chic center of the city. In short, more than you would expect from a hostel.

Breakfast is disaster. I would not call it breakfast. When we went down after 8 am almost everything was finished. In general, there is just bread, ham, cheese and some pate… that’s all. Coffee is really bad… we end up for coffee on the petrol station.

It’s a hostel, so you will get what you can expect on hostels. Room was ok. Overall facility is nice. Couple of restaurant within walking distance.

Located right across the public beach. Breakfast buffet is fine (you can't expect hotel level from a youth hostel). Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The shower room - more like a wet room (the water from the shower spread a little too far across the floor) - and the fact that my bed creaked whenever I moved.

The rooms are not sound proof. You hear absolutely everything from the corridor and the room next door (I woke up with their alarm clock). Bring your ear plugs or buy them in dm.

The location is perfect! The breakfast was basic but quite good. The room was spacious and warm. We appreciated that everything was new and clean.

We expected the bed to be one double bed, like we saw in a few pictures. Sadly, there were two single beds, far apart in the room.

The breakfast was included, and pretty good. The room was big and clean. The staff was helpful and accommodating, we needed a place to store our luggage before and after our stay and there was no problem, they let us leave it in a room.

The shower water is cold.

The location of the hotel is good, hotel's equipment is quite new. But I have to say that I don't have hot water when I use the shower, I think the worker should pay more attention to verifying all the equipment in advance to avoid this kind of mistake. Otherwise, the person who works there is very good, the breakfast is also ok. Just need to improve a little more on management.

The reception is only open after 5pm for check in, so if you arrive earlier (like me) you need to wait until 5pm, and then at 5pm everybody comes to reception at the same time, so you need additionally wait in line, especially, if like in my case the group leader comes to check in his entire group skipping the line. I would be great also to have an elevator for those who are travelling with luggage.

The guest house was nice and clean, my room was brand new, just after renovation, new furniture... And they had a lot of information hanging around about the bus schedules, attractions.

We wanted to check out quite early (around 7ish), but reception was only opened up at 8:00... Fresh fruit for breakfast would be a superb add-on :-)

The location ist exceptional - right in the middle of the city center of Bad Ischl. There's only like 3 free parking spots right in front of the accommodation, but there's plenty of paid parking space right next to it. Parking is free during the night which is nice. We didn't expect much, since it's a youth hostel, but were really surprised by how nice everything was. Breakfast was basic, but offered more than we expected and there's something for everyone - even fresh veggies. We had a two bed room, which was basically a small room with a bunkbed, a desk and a closet. Not much but everything that's needed. The bathroom was newly renovated - modern and very clean!

The room was not clean, moreover, in towels we found other people hairs. No free parking space. Breakfast was not good also - no warm options. Wifi almost did not work.. :) (even at late night). Comparing the value and benefits with other options in town-I highly reccomend you to choose other appartments

The size of the room was a bit small for 4 people, but for two nights it wasn’t that bad.

Our stay was good at the hostel. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! The location is also great, everything is easily reachable by foot.
