The lighting was dim in areas that needed more lighting! I absolutely HATED that there was no phone in the room, but next to the elevator—how STUPID. What if you had an emergency and need the front desk. It is ignorant to think we could call on our cell phone—like you have the number. For the price you pay, there should be a phone in the room!

Location for price was good. The staff were excellent and were a big help as I had a mixup with luggage. Really the staff was excellent.

Our room was however never cleaned while we were there. We requested housekeeping to clean on the second day and reception confirmed that they will send someone early. Unfortunately when we returned late afternoon the room was still not clean.

Lovely hotel and friendly people. The rooms are well appointed and sizeable. Location conveniently near Belvedere Palace and access to public transport.

Everything was absolutely okay. Maybe the staff could be nicer, they did not contacted us at all, they never asked if we liked anything or enjoyed our stay. It was a bit impersonal, but for some people this also could be a positive thing.

Room was a bit dark. Breakfast was expensive so I went out for coffee.

Due to the heat wave the hotel air-conditioning was not at its best with 27 degrees in the room was not the ideal temperature 😒

Overpriced for the offered facilities - no slippers, no toiletries, just some dispensers for soap and shampoo like in a low level accommodation that even doesn't work properly.

Selection of TV programmes (only English one is the BBC). The design of the room is weird: you can see the shower from the bed and they are technically in the same space (no steam lingered though).

Spacious room, lovely view. Better mattress than average, the double bed made from singles was a bonus. Tasty breakfast. Properly openable window.

A very well-located hotel if you plan to visit Belvedere Palace. The general appearance and the furnishings of the rooms are a bit unfashionable and tired, but the hotel gets 10 points for the breakfast! A very wide selection, food for every taste and desire.

I chose the hotel due to the location next to Belvedere, which was good. Karlsplatz is also easily reachable. Having said that, I realized the walk to downtown took longer than I thought. Next time I might try to stay directly in the District 1. The room was also a bit anonymous, with not a lot of character/charm.

Good hotel overall - I am not a big fan of the chain hotels that tend to look the same everywhere, and this one is a rather modern building - when you are in your room, you could be in Vienna, Cairo or Los Angeles, and you would not notice the difference. Having said that, the hotel is comfortable, pleasant, the breakfast was excellent, and the location is great next to the Belvedere!

Sauna was only open after 5pm, would be better if open in morning so you could work out then hit sauna as most people exercise in morning.

Good size room by European standards with all the essentials, good hotel facilities. Good location near things but not overwhelmed by tourist places near hotel.

- you gotta be ready for less privacy in the room due to absence of doors to the bathroom. But its great if you travel as a couple! - the stuff is ok and is trying to be helpful if you ask. If you don’t ask, they simply ignore you. The stuff needs to be trained much better, giving people warm feeling of being welcomed at the hotel and during the breakfast. - breakfast is ok if you don’t expect luxury and Austrian delicious home food. Prosecco is only on the weekend. - weird sounds from the roof all night long on the 5th floor. Probably squeaky roof during the wind. We needed earplugs to sleep.

Only 6 tissues in the tissue box, one side-light in bathroom did not work.

Comfortable bed. Clean room. Nice hot shower. Great location to Rennweg Sation (can take the S7 straight to the Vienna Airport). Quick 20 minutes walk to Central Vienna. Breakfast buffet is expensive for AU$ currency but there is wonderful selection of foods.

Worn out furniture, cleanliness of the room leaves space for improvement: leftovers of some splashes on the wall in the toilet (prefer not to think about their origin), yellowish sink, socks and bottle from previous guests under the sofa..

Hotel is in a great location close to everything within walking distance the breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. They had a very big variety of food. Staff was exceptional and professional, along with the hotel was very clean. Definitely would come back.
