Breakfast had many choices but was slightly expensive for a family of four at €25.00 p.p

The staff were attentive and friendly. They left cake in the room as a welcome. Helped pick some good attractions and showed us where to go.. The hotel was close to the attractions. When the handle fell off the door, it was attended to immediately. Umbrellas were available to use as it rained constantly. Rooms were comfortable, and showers were great. All in all. A great stay in Salzburg.

We booked a double room and we we’re given a twin . When we questioned we were told they don’t have many double rooms mainly twins and it’s basically the same . We don’t see it that way

Girls in the reception are not professional. I think they don’t know the job well. When we came they did’t give the room that we reserved. While we are checküng out they try to charge the car park fee for the second time which we alreafy paid

Location is quite central, less than 10mins walk to Mirabell Gardens, abt 20mins walk to Old Town (leisurely pace). Hotel is clean, modern & comfortable. as expected of the NH group. I’m a seasoned business traveller and have stayed in NH hotels in other parts of the world. What impressed me most & compelled me to write this review (I don’t usually write reviews) is the service of their staff, esp Emilie and a gentleman from South Africa (I think, didn’t get his name. works the night shift during 18-21 Feb’23.). Emilie went over and beyond what’s expected of her job scope and provided such excellent service with genuine warmth, she really made our first visit to Salzburg City an unforgettable one… thank you very much!

Water for the room shouldn't be so expensive, 7 euros for a bottle. Also it is the hotel choice but if breakfast was slightly cheaper, I am sure many more people would have breakfast at the hotel. The competition is fierce since there are a lot of great cafes where you can have a great 15 euro breakfast.

The bed was a little firm but overall it was comfortable. The parking garage was full so we had to park in an alternate garage, luckily it was only a 5 minute walk so it wasn't too bad.

Young lady short skinny with dark hair. Not polite abrupt and seems first day in the hospitality industry. No customer service skills, no proactive and looked uncomfortable and unhappy of her role.

The scrambled eggs were not real. The lighting in the room was quite sombre, which, in addition to the dark decor of the room, made the whole light conditions poor. if you are a smoker, you will find no accomodation for your nasty habit. There is not even a seat/table with an ashtray outside. Sitting outside on the pavement with other smokers is not a very good image for the hotel. Last, but not least, the price of the room was too expensive for the size of the room and the hotle in general.

The hotel is very well placed, close to the pedestrian walk through the shops and restaurants. Also very close to the river and the old-city centre. The staff at the reception were very pleasant and helpful. The parking accomodation, though far from the hotel, is very well organized with a parking-card that allows easy entry-exit. The room was well organized, with sufficient outlets for charging your devices + a plug in the barhroom. stocked Minibar + nespresso machine (though coffee capsules are of poor quality). Bathroom and shower are comfortable and well-stocked. Breakfast was quite good.

I liked other NH Collection hotels better: larger rooms & better breakfast selections. Also, our room was TOO dark; the lighting was not effective.

The evening Reception Desk staff was exceptional - specially the young lady from Spain & the bartender from Spain also. The breakfast staff was very nice & was willing to make omelettes.

I missed that the booking was for a double or twin room and didn't specify in the booking, when I asked I was told that no double rooms were available. So that was quite disappointing.

Arrived early (11am) and asked if we could drop our bags, but we were told our room was ready, so that was nice!

The first room we were given was a twin rather than double so we asked to change. There was a weird (vomit?) smell in the second room but we stuck with it as it was for one night only. Water pressure in the shower is ok but thermostat doesn’t hold the same temperature level well. Room service tried to enter at 8.45 in the morning!! I appreciate we didn’t leave the ‘do not disturb’ sign out but I would never expect that to me an issue before 9am.
