A non-smoking policy on the shared balconies should be enforced.

The is the second time we stayed here for an extended period of time (8 nights). We were accommodated in a spacious Studio room. The beds were comfortable and the room was spotless clean. The bathroom amenities were of good quality. Spacious parking right outside the hotel. The breakfast: During our summer vacation 2023 we have stayed at more than 10 different hotels. The breakfast buffet at Essigmanngut is second to none, it is by far the most superior breakfast experience we have had. Also the coffee/espresso machines and juice dispensers are state of the art. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was excellent. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and everything was delicious. Room was very good. Clean and spacious, with modern renovations. The inclusion of amenities like a water boiling machine was convenient. Location was convenient. The hotel's location right next to the highway makes it easily accessible, particularly if you are traveling by car. Additionally, its proximity to Salzburg is a plus, and the availability of parking adds to the convenience.

The only slight criticism would be that we could hear cars on the highway when we sat out on the balcony. It wasn't loud, and inside the room we didn't notice it at all, but outside it made the setting slightly less idyllic. But the scenery is beautiful. And of course the flipside is that it's super convenient to get to because it's near the highway.

The hotel was beautifully decorated, there was plenty of space to hang out in the lounge areas, the room was comfortable and had everything we needed. But the most impressive thing was the breakfast. They had such an amazing variety and the quality was excellent. Probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had.

No air conditioning, need a larger fan if no AC. They need an additional coffee machine. Very long waits at the coffee machine every morning. They could do with at least one more, maybe two more. The bunk beds are pretty small. Perfect for kids, but not meant for adults.

Beautiful scenery, lovely areas to just hang with a bottle of wine, very family friendly, comfy beds, THE BREAKFAST!!!! YUM! Easy parking. Comfortable place to stay.

Only thing missing was that we couldn't get any coffee or tea after 10pm as the machines were not working and there was no staff around. I think it would be great if there was a coffee machine and tea inside of the room.

The hotel is not so far away from Salzburg by car, and it is located in the middle of a peaceful and relaxing landscape with mountain view. We explored the area a little bit during our morning walk and it was awesome. Everything was great, the breakfast was fantastic.

Nothing! Everything was perfect

This was our 2nd visit to this hotel. We were here in 2017 and while I loved how quaint it was then, I enjoyed the extras they have added. Best place to stay in Salzburg! The free breakfast was unbelievably good. The #25 bus right there to go anywhere you need to go. I especially enjoyed the walks to the bus stop. We ate in Anif more than the city. I highly recommend Aniva for Italian food and Friesacher for Austrian food.
