We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI loved my stay at Pension Michael! I couldn’t fault it. Antonia and the team made me feel incredibly welcome and looked after. It’s family-feel hospitality at its finest. Breakfast was a joy (amazing sausage, eggs, homemade jams and cakes) and even my single room was spacious, comfortable and stylish. Perfect.

SwedenThe only small 'but' was the wifi coverage that was a bit random - sometimes it worked fine, other times not so good. No big issue for us as we had plenty of other activities to do then surf the internet but worth mentioning at least.
Was traveling with family (2 adults and 3 kids between 11 and 15). Very, very good pensionat. Super happy with our stay. Pensionat and room all very clean, neat, tidy and staff was super friendly. Rooms cleaned every day. Only had breakfast one morning but was also very good. There's a large patio with lots of furniture and lounge chairs. Location very good - 75m from very nice pool (which was free with joker card) and 250m from center of Saalbach and all the restaurants and lifts. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!

Saudi ArabiaNo elevator. We were on the 4th floor family room with a toddler and carrying him and groceries up, not to mention our two luggages up there was a chore. Also we didn’t have breakfast included in our family room since we had a kitchen which was a big bummer for me. I didn’t want to cook while on vacation so we had to go out and pay for breakfast while the rest of the hotel ate the included breakfast. :/
The staff is super welcoming and the cleaning service is fantastic. We left for breakfast one day and it was cleaned by the time we came back. They also replace the bed sheets without asking when my kids got them dirty with a strawberry.
