Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe breakfasts were delicious, lots of options and very healthy! The rooms and beds are very comfortable, the spa and steam is an extra treat after a day of skiing, and the hotel is in a perfect location right in the heart of the town. I recommend Hotel Garni Schneider whole-heartedly!

10/10!!!! ABOVE AND BEYOND! We had a wonderful stay at this family run, Garni Schneider Hotel and experience in Lech. Carola and families were amazing hosts and gave us such a special and warm hospitality. Carola is super knowledgeable about the areas and hiking trails and gave us many ideas and recommendations for hiking trails that were appropriate for the weather conditions and suitable for each day. The location is perfect, easy access anywhere with public transportation,free parking in the garage, room is super cozy, clean and comfortable (we got upgraded with a beautiful Mountain View 😍), great breakfast and warm service every morning for starting your day! Thank you!! Can’t wait to go back!

This is a brilliant hotel in a perfect location in the centre of town. It’s next door to one of the two main ski lifts in town and an Inter Sport for ski rentals. The second main ski lift is a 5 minute (or less) away. The rooms were spacious, very clean, lots of storage room, comfortable beds and a really modern bathroom. I’ve stayed in a lot of Marriott brand hotels and this one easily matches the higher end brands. The staff in this family run hotel are so friendly and each morning put on a great breakfast buffet with a selection of cocked eggs. Lovely selection of food and coffee. The owners were so helpful and nothing was too much for them. There is also a spa area in the hotel with Steam Room, Sauna, Foot Spa and Relax room. All this and breakfast is included in the price. There is good Wi-Fi throughout the hotel too. If you are planning a trip to Lech, I would 100% recommend this hotel to stay in. There is no bar or evening restaurant at the hotel, but it is in the centre of town so plenty nearby. I recommend you book evening meals in advance of your stay as the best local restaurants can get busy. This hotel is excellent value in an expensive resort. Thanks Hotel Garni Schneider for a wonderful stay!
