It's a great place to stay for families for a reasonable price. We were two adults and three kids. Rooms are big enough and comfy for sleeping. The kitchen is better than in the photo, we could find everything we needed. The view from the balcony is fascinating. The facilities were clean.

The house is close to Hallstatt, around 20 minutes by car. The room was clean and had a beautiful view.

Great place to stay. Amazing nature and view, the place is clean and pleasant. Theres a shared equipped kitchen. The room I stayed was quite ok, with a private shower, small fridge and sink. Anneliese doesnt speak much English but she was helpful and nice. Definetely recommend!

We drove there. We chose the location as it was close to Hallstatt and the price was attractive. But, it turned out to be a very nice location and we ended up spending most of our time hiking and exploring Gosau (the village) itself. It's a skiing station, which we didn't know. It's a big place, the owner lives in the house there herself. We arrived there very late, which was possible in a car (not sure about public transport at all; so if one plans to use that then they must check about it before hand). So, if you are going there driving by yourself then it is good. You shouldn't expect luxurious beds and stuff; but you can be sure of cleanliness and comfort. Anyway, we had a very pleasant time. And we give this owner lady 10/10; location 10/10; and comfort 10/10.

The place is clean and comfortable. Very close to the trails and the lake. Close by there is also Moosalm where you can have a beer and eat 😃. Will be definitely coming back!

There is a heater in the room but I still feel a little bit cold. However I have a good sleep anyway.

Shared bathroom and shower is not the problem becuase there was not crowded. The room was nice and spacious. The location is close to gosausee and hallstatt. The view of the mountain is amazing. The parking was just there beside the hotel. The kitchen was good. Very good stay at very low price.

The only disadvantage but this goes for the majority of Austria is lack of places to go sit after 6pm! :D ... no coffee shop. Only 1 pizzeria open till 10pm if there are people till that time :D so this is not a place for night life .. maybe for the frogs yes :). Noone accepts card payments so bring tons of cash!.

Location is perfect =) Owner is very nice and does not bother us at all during our stay, Everything is available, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, oven, fridge... great :) The whole place is clean and spacey. Many options to go out and look around. This area is not expensive and the prices are just right. Sheep and bells will wake you up every morning. The landscape is very calming. You will feel like you are the only tourist around .. not crowded! This property has free parking (we came by car).

The kitchen was a bit unequipped, there was no oven, and spices other than salt.

The location was good and the view was amazing from the terrace. We had our own fridge and shower. Annalise was really nice. Everything was clean.

She only speaks german, but that is really not a problem. We understood eachother very well.

We got our room upgraded for no other reason, that Anneliese was truly a nice and good host. We got a big room with a lot of space, with good wifi. It is close to the Gosau city, and the host helped with brochures of the city.

We loved our short stay, can highly recommend going for a run to the lake, there is a gentle path and its just 3km each way. Theres another lake 7km if you're fit! The host was lovely, view amazing. Great value for money!

Our room did not have a balcony. The room was small. Moskitos came each night in the room, it is not host fault but it was uncomfy.

If there are multiple guests at the same time it can be annoying that you hear when others -go to the toilet -go to have a bath -go cooking

Good location: Gosau village is only a few hundred meters away: pizzeria, café, etc. all within reachable distance. The Gosau lakes and the Dachstein Massive itself is only a 10-min drive from the house! :)

The room wasn't very clean and the bed was noisy. The host didn't speak English but she was very nice.
