We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThe noise and music from the restaurant down stairs was a little disruptive in the evenings, but it didn't go on too late into the night. so it was OK.
Breakfast was delicious, staff were helpful and attentive. sitting on the terrace was wonderful in the mornings. The location is fantastic, views of the the hills on both sides of the hotel, and close to 3 cable lifts heading up the mountain.

United KingdomBooking.com are selling a room that the hotel themselves don’t sell ‘as the hotel themselves describe as very basic’. yet the price is not a great deal difference to the other rooms. not a buggy but TV didn’t work. with slopping roof, access to the bed was difficult.
