Tv remote did not work. The bed was squeacking. The surrounding wasn't neet.

However, the cleanliness, room furnishings, and especially the bathroom need an overhaul and definite adjustment. Overall, it is unfortunate that they are not at all adequate and well-maintained, exploiting the potential of this facility.

We stayed one night in this hotel. The staff was very helpful, although for the most part no one spoke English. The location of the hotel is great, with ample parking, and the facility looks very good on the outside. The room assigned was very quaint and quiet.

The rooms booked via booking were VERY small. The double bed almost filled the room. Only after complaining and hinting of the upcoming review with booking.com we received a much better room for the same price. The annex building does not have elevator and the stairs are steep.

Original and picturesque old castle. Renovated several years ago, but needs improvements. Good breakfast and good dinner. Restaurant is elegant and clean. In the main building is an elevator. Some of the rooms are big, not all.

The Schloss has an excellent location and offers the experience of living in a 500 year old castle! Our room was not huge, but full of character and we were very comfortable and warm. We enjoyed our breakfasts; scrambled eggs or omelette are proposed but bacon and fried eggs were also possible and perhaps other items. With our half board option the evening meal was four courses - a set menu with vegetarian alternative. Soup (always delicious), salad bar, excellent main course and dessert. Service in the restaurant was excellent. Staff on the whole were welcoming.

The evening meal salad bar was a a bit samey and tired compared with our previous visits.

Spacious and comfortable room, lovely and walm, friendly welcome from the waiter in the restaurant (this was our fourth stay), lovely breakfast buffet. We love the authentic and quirky ambiance of Schoss Münichau.

I had a very small room, and the bathroom facilities are aged somewhat, could do with tidying up a bit.

Breakfast was simple but more than enough, staff were extremely polite and checkin / out was easy. The location has an easy going flair... I was only there foe one night and it was uncomplicated.

Very bad sauna and on Sundays, they can't turn it on because the sauna technician is off no relaxation area - as it was written in the offer. Small selection of diner.. Reluctance to accept credit cards. Very small rooms and many times a non-functioning elevator.

The garden is not well cared for. Dead flowers not cut off and indeed, there are even dead flowers left on tables in old water. The cottage annex is full of various old objects, actually totally overcrowded. Are they dusted frequently???

Breakfast was perfect. In the exceptionally hot week we appreciated the swimming pool with cold water and the garden with many possibilities of shade. The whole complex has a special old-times character and atmosphere, which we liked very much and which is rare to find in other hotels. Very affordable prices.

The cleaniness was poor. There was as bad smell. Al the furniture were worn out and need to be replace. Generel the hotel need to be renovated. The room were not ready when we arrived.

This is an amazing place, close to Kitzbuehl. We travelled here with 2 kids aged below 6 and I must say that we all absolutely loved it. The rooms are beautiful and authentic, the staff and owners are attentive and great! It is a hidden gem, and we will for sure come back! For meals; the house restaurant is awesome and it serves proper Austrian house food, which is great after a long day in the mountains!
