Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesWhat I did not like: The hotel is situated next to a major train line and station and if you desire a breeze like me, opening the windows will ensure that you will not rest if you are sensitive to noise. / Some reviewers shy away from this topic, but the bathroom tissue was like sanding paper. / The hotel is extremely busy and has only one elevator. Be ready to wait for a long while at times. or use the stairs. I am physically challenged, so that was not an option for me. / The morning coffee was unfortunately available from a machine and just did not have a kick. / Finally, the price was a bit high for this time of the season, including the parking, but for transients like us, it was acceptable.
We recently stayed at Imlauer for night with the family. GOOGLE maps took us direct to the hotel with no issues. Checking in was a breeze, the room was clean and quaint and prepared for our arrival. Unloading is available in the loading zone in front of the hotel and their parking lots, just around the corner. The hotel is situated a short walk to Mirabell Gardens and Palace and about fifteen minutes to the Getreidegasse shopping area. There are several restaurants nearby, but the in-house hotel was great for local cuisine. The breakfast in the same location as the restaurant had a great variety and was plentyful. What I liked: The service was incredible. / The ever-present Brigitte, the front desk clerk was amazing with her ability to serve multiple individuals concurrently. She keept calm and professional when overrun by 25-30 individuals after exiting tour buses, all expecting immediate assistance. It was fascinating to watch as she kindly assisted everyone with a smile and in multiple languages. / The restaurant staff was in typical Austrian fashion friendly, expedient and professional. / The buffet was always stocked or immediately re-stocked by the cooking staff, never allowing anything to be missed. There are also no complaints about the quality and plentiness of food provided.

United StatesRoom - we were traveling as a family with 3 adults and 5 yr old and the hotel worked with us to make sure our 2 rooms were next to each other. Breakfast - Amazing selection and excellent service. Very attentive staff and focused on details. Old School customer service which so many hotels are lacking now a days. Well done Dinner - we arrived early evening and decided to have dinner in the hotel dining room... Best decision we could have made as the food and service were top notch. So much so that we decided to hustle back after an action packed day of site seeing in time to have one more opportunity for having another dinner in the same.

TurkeyI stayed at a 'superior room' . It was only superior by m2. They probably cleaned that room about a month ago and left it because there was dust everywhere. I couldn't step on the floor without shoes. Even bed sheets were dusty. More amenities would be nice, like a pair of hotel slippers.
Everthing at breakfast was fresh and delicious. Location is good, easy walk distance to center, next to main train station. Staff was friendly and helpful. Best thing about this hotel is their restaurant downstairs. I had a delicious dinner with my friends.
