Adventure bay retreat was the perfect getaway to relax. The cottage itself is situated on a property in a quite centrally located area to everything you need, however the property offered ample amounts of privacy. The view from the bed as you look out the sliding glass doors is open paddock of wallaby’s, whilst also hearing the occasional crash of the waves from a distance. The stay was super relaxing, cozying up by the fire and relaxing in the spa. The cottage is fully equipped with washing machine, and cooking appliances.

We stayed at the Lodge and it was stunning. Perfect location to set up base, and explore Bruny Island. Everything was terrific, with nature all around, and the sound of the ocean lulling you to asleep. The staff were very helpful and quick to respond when needed.

After checked in, we found there were no shampoo, conditioner or tissues provided in the lodge. It would be good to know at least to bring them prior to arrival.

It's a spacious self contained lodge which is kept private from other lodges or cabins and just amongst the bush and the wild life. It's just beautiful to be in the middle of the nature and nothing else around it. It was nice to be greeted by Mr and Mrs Duck every morning 🦆

The furry cushion was a bit grubby( and thats being nit picking).

Isolation, serenity, everything that one needed, and the echidnas and wallabies were sweer.

Wonderful cottage, clean and cozy with everything you need for a perfect getaway. Location is amazing with wildlife on you doorstep, enjoyed looking at wallabies hopping aroud. Highly recommended.

Did not like the gravel road. The front door did not always open on first go, sometimes had to try a few times

It’s hard to pick anything but a bigger ironing board would have been welcome. in the lair there is a long staircase down to the bedrooms which may present challenges for older people with mobility issues. Nothing that bothered us though - our stay was perfect.

Beautiful home with everything you could want for a pampered stay. Each bedroom had its own ensuite with bathtub which meant every guest had a lovely stay. great gourmet kitchen. the hot tub was relaxing. Lots of wildlife including albino wallabies.

Highly recommend this property. So secluded and relaxing. Lots of wildlife, very child friendly all ages. We had a wonderful family holiday in The Lodge. The Swing 🥰

Could do with a new frying pan. Also could do with an oven clean.

The place lived up to expectation. Considering that it's almost fully booked all the time, the upkeep of the place was good. There were quality appliances installed and the place literally had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We were even surprised that it even had a rice cooker, which came as an added bonus for us!

Absolutely gorgeous accommodation. Tranquil, rural retreat set among typical Bruny Island scenery, with wallabies grazing outside the door. The retreat was well equipped and beautifully laid out. The staff we dealt with were friendly and communicative.
