  “We stayed two nights in January with our 5yr old daughter. Having made the booking on short notice for peak season (I think it was the last property available in Alonnah) we were most pleasantly surprised. A fantastic location from which to explore the island, in a beautiful bush setting on the northern edge of the village - wallabies on the lawn in the evening, native flowers, lots of bird and reptile life, no traffic, sunrise over the hills and sunset over the water beyond some trees in front. Easy walking distance along the beach to the pub for evening meals, impeccably clean with kitchen and laundry facilities that are more than adequate for domestic needs during an island stay. Owner was most obliging and assisted promptly with an inquiry we had following our stay. While we did not plan to cook evening meals, if we had a longer stay a simple gas bbq would be useful. Would certainly stay again and recommend to others.”

  “This quaint cosy cottage exceeded all expectations. The location was perfect in the middle of South Bruny, close to everything. The finishing touches Rachel added of fresh eggs, bread, homemade honeycomb and jam is the cherry on top of this humble abode.
