I thought the Alex Hotel was really good value for money and the location was brilliant. I didn't have anything to complain about.

There were usb charging ports and well positioned electrical points in the room, which was really helpful. The location was fantastic being in the centre of Northbridge. Everything was within walking distance. The breakfast was really good.

Staying over the weekend was quite loud due to the surrounding bars and restaurants. But, easy access to the city!

By no fault of the hotel, you can hear the music from a nightclub two doors down. Inconvenient, but worth noting.

Perfect location in the cultural center of Perth. helpful staff and good comfy setting. the hotel restaurant was delightful. I’d stay here again for sure.

The stuffiness of the hallways, the rooms were a bit on the small side. We did certainly miss having a small fridge and tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Although you can go to the shared kitchen area anytime, it would have been good to have coffee & tea making facilities in the room. An armchair or desk in the room would have been handy too.

Fantastic location, right in the heart of Perth's entertainment and cultural district. Very close to the train station too. Very modern hotel, the shared eating and relaxing areas were very welcome. The included breakfast was very healthy and delicious.

My own fault, I didn’t realise it didn’t have any bells and whistles in terms of a fridge in the room or toiletries (like a shower cap).

Continental breakfast was delicious! It made a difference that it was proper bakery goods and real coffee.

All of the staff were friendly. The entire building smelt lovely and fresh from the lobby to the elevator, and the pastries for breakfast were so good!

Do not stay in this hotel if you do not like to party. It is next to many clubs that are loud until 2am or later, especially on weekends. You will not be able to sleep, even with serious earplugs.

The pillows were a little bit softish. The homemade granola could have benefited from a little more fruit. But these are minor quibbles in an overall lovely stay.

Breakfast, it would’ve been nice to have to option between a continental breakfast or an egg/bacon breakfast. I would have happily paid more for an egg and bacon option. Alex Hotel is superb otherwise with cleanliness, professional staff, location and comfort. I would absolutely recommend family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
