Easier access to the beach would be good, though the large drop in level can hardly be blamed on anyone. Erosion just happens sometimes. The cost may be prohibitive, but it would be great to be able to just walk down some steps to that lovely sand.

Staff, from start to finish went out of their way to be helpful. The kitchen was spacious and facilities were good. Bathroom and toilets were clean and it was nice to see ceramic basins. They always look so much cleaner. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here better than I have of much more expensive accomodation with a quiet and relaxing casual atmosphere. I intend to come again, next time to have a longer stay.

Not much to complain about. At times the carpark was full and we had to park quite a distance away, though that is really the only complaint/inconvenience we had!

Kitchen is small, lack of cups/dishes and cutlery got us very confused (we had not been told), reception was closed so we didn’t hAve anything to use to eat. Not sure if the number of bathrooms would be enough when the hostel is full

To be fair, first lady in reception that checked us in was lovely. we told her that we were leaving before 7 and she explained how to check out. she did not told us the kitchen was going to be closed for the night (mybe forgot or took it for granted) and the only signs saying so were in the reception doors that are folded when open, so we did not see. Not only the kitchen is closed until 7:30am but also you CANNOT ACCESS the fridges or any other facility. 7:30!! so we had to leave all our food behind. we tried to contact them, knock on door of reception but no one answered and found no emergency number. It is not a huge deal but I called after leaving to let them know and kindly asked if there was anything we could do, and that I was letting them know that they should be clearer about that. I asked if they could compensare in any way, and I would understand an answer such as "we cannot do anything but we are sorry and take your advice" or something like this, mostly after me trying to say things the better way possible. However, worst experience in the hostel has been the answer: look, your inhability to listen when we give you instructions on repection cannot be compensated, good bye, and she hang up the phone. this is worst that having my food left, because it is not hard to be nice. other than that all good but have in mind there is NO ACCES at all to you food during nighttime

I booked a private room and paid $180 for the night, upon check in I was handed sheets and told to make my own bed. The room came with no towels and I was told I must hire these with cash only, which I did not have, as I only use my card. I was forced to dry myself with a t shirt after my shower. The room had no air conditioning, it was disgustingly hot. The reception was only open from 9am and I had to check out at 8:45, the staff member setting up reception took my room key and said that my $10 key deposit would NOT be returned as they hadn't set up the eftpos machine yet - any person who had a brain would just manually put the payment back onto the card once the machines are set up. I still haven't received my key deposit funds back. This stay was terrible.
