I have stayed here before but was unaware that the apartment would be in a separate building across the road from the resort and as there was no lift there were several flights of stairs to walk up and down. The kitchen cupboards were in a sad state of disrepair, a couple off them hanging off and the place could do with a bit of TLC. I had to ask for dishwashing powder, face washers and a hairdryer as these were not in the room. We had to buy a sachet of washing powder but that's not unusual.

The room was clean and spacious for our family of three adults and two children. Kitchen was adequate. Main bedroom had it's own en suite and the other bedrooms shared a good sized bathroom and there was a separate European style laundry. There was a swimming pool with pool towels available from reception. The Bayleaf Restaurant in the main building is amazing. We ate there every morning for breakfast and had several evening meals there - delicious food and great service. Special mention to Milton, who made our stay extra special. The hotel is a good walk from the town centre and lagoon but that wasn't a problem for us.

There is no lift for seniors, and you need to carry your luggage up to the room .

No lift to carry luggage upstairs... so not ideal for people with a lot of luggage.

We stayed only a night after a long day. The room was excellent for us to rest and breakfast was perfect to start the day.

Rooms are tired and could do with an update. The pool did not look inviting, despite the great image of it on the website.

Location to Esplanade & Coast is very good, and the staff are friendly. I liked the layout and the fact that it's not a multi-storey. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was clean.

1 staff member in the breakfast/restaurant on 12/02/2024 was miserable. I would not like to stay there again simply because of her.

Room we got given across the road was well sized fully self contained and well air-conditioned (as FNQ locals this is a must during January). Great self contained room with everything we needed. Recommend Bay Village we will stay again.

Buildings and facilities are all very dated and need updating. Distanced from the center area. We booked a two beds apartment with two bathrooms as clearly described in Booking.com page, but actual room got only one bathroom which was disappointing. However, staff kindly add complimentary breakfast and free charge for the fifth person.

The 2nd night we were kept awake until nearly 3.30am as the guests in neighbouring room had friends all sitting in front of my room drinking spitting on concrete pavers and partying, I made a complaint to front desk at 10.30pm they came and sent them on their way but they returned an hour later when I tried front desk again there was no answer.

The room was clean tidy and the beds were comfortable. The facilities were great, WiFi was sporadic and slow only thong I would suggest is a microwave in rooms as only a fridge and jug was available.

No AC in the main room where two of the beds were meant that it got really hot during the night. Slept very poorly for that reason.

Easy to get to, spacious room. Clean. Good value for the price. The bay leaf restaurant downstairs was delicious.

The upstairs room had to be accessed by climbing upstairs which were difficult being elderly. The downstairs room has a high step to reach the bathroom.

The room was clean and comfortable. We actually stayed in 2 rooms one upstairs because of the flooding outside our room downstairs.
