Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location for an overnight stay that is in a quiet neighborhood. Near to Cock & Bull tavern and hospital if you had to be using that facility. Not far from the CBD if you want to head in there.

AustraliaI have stayed here before but was unaware that the apartment would be in a separate building across the road from the resort and as there was no lift there were several flights of stairs to walk up and down. The kitchen cupboards were in a sad state of disrepair, a couple off them hanging off and the place could do with a bit of TLC. I had to ask for dishwashing powder, face washers and a hairdryer as these were not in the room. We had to buy a sachet of washing powder but that's not unusual.
The room was clean and spacious for our family of three adults and two children. Kitchen was adequate. Main bedroom had it's own en suite and the other bedrooms shared a good sized bathroom and there was a separate European style laundry. There was a swimming pool with pool towels available from reception. The Bayleaf Restaurant in the main building is amazing. We ate there every morning for breakfast and had several evening meals there - delicious food and great service. Special mention to Milton, who made our stay extra special. The hotel is a good walk from the town centre and lagoon but that wasn't a problem for us.

Location to Esplanade & Coast is very good, and the staff are friendly. I liked the layout and the fact that it's not a multi-storey. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was clean.

We booked a two beds apartment with two bathrooms as clearly described in Booking.com page, but actual room got only one bathroom which was disappointing. However, staff kindly add complimentary breakfast and free charge for the fifth person.

AustraliaThe 2nd night we were kept awake until nearly 3.30am as the guests in neighbouring room had friends all sitting in front of my room drinking spitting on concrete pavers and partying, I made a complaint to front desk at 10.30pm they came and sent them on their way but they returned an hour later when I tried front desk again there was no answer.
The room was clean tidy and the beds were comfortable. The facilities were great, WiFi was sporadic and slow only thong I would suggest is a microwave in rooms as only a fridge and jug was available.
