The hash browns at brekkie were super rubbery.

The staff were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble, from a pen and paper to charging my phone, everything was done efficiently and with a smile. It was clean, fresh and ready. They had also organised a lovely welcome note celebrating our anniversary, and a complimentary bottle of bubbles!

Pool water could have been a little warmer.

Very well appointed 1 bedroom apartment about a 10 minute walk from Flinders Street Station. Welcoming reception staff. Compact bathroom with shower recess. TV in bedroom and lounge room. Full stove and medium size fridge plus washing machine. Large heated indoor swimming pool. Very comfortable stay. Serviced daily.

Nothing to dislike. Parking would cost extra and I’m not sure how close it is. But if using public transport or taxis this is a great location.

Clean and new (or recently renovated) rooms. Very helpful staff, 24 hour reception. Not far from trains and trams.

Car parking is very narrow and low height. Caution: If you are travelling with medium to large SUV and If your boot opens up. It hits the ceiling.

Only down fall was we got a late checkout (12pm) & we had a house keeping come in just after 9am and a second one at about 11. Kind of defeated the purpose of getting a late checkout.

Extremely good location, close to crown, the aquarium & plenty of restaurants. Also a short walk from dfo. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade on our room, which had incredible views.

I asked them to confirm the price for parking but they couldn't. If you cannot confirm the price remove it from your site as it's false advertising. I didn't like the way they messaged me to see if there was anything I would like and then didn't respond until after I left the hotel. I also don't think I should wait so long for my deposit to be returned. It was about 3 weeks.

The shower door was broken, but still usable!

Very helpful staff, lovely room, clean, great view. Could see the fire show from our river front room which was awesome. 8min walk to Degraves for brekky. 6min to train station. Perfect location!

Booking.com let us down. After booking the property at the advertised price we were sent a confirmation email three hours later with the price having increased by 15%. I Immediately messaged booking.com and they asked me for a copy of the screenshot of the booking. The only problem with that was there was no way to send a screenshot in their messaging service as they did not allow attachments and they do not have an advertised email that I could reply to. I communicated the issue immediately with the hotel and spoke to them when we arrived and they promised me that they would get on to booking.com. when I checked out I found that I had been actually charged the higher amount and I took it up with the manager of the Clarion Suites, Mr Michael Gibbs and he was very sympathetic. Their communications with booking.com had gone unanswered as well. Although it was not his problem he took it upon himself to refund us the difference in the cost between the quoted price and the charged price. We're grateful to Michael and the team at Clarion suites for handling what could have been a difficult situation with honor.

Train noise! Flinders St station is very busy for 20 out of 24 hours. Better glazing may help to reduce noise. Not much storage space for clothes- ok for a very short stay, but not much good for longer stays.
