Lack of pathway lighting towards the cottage made it difficult to see where we were walking when we arrived at night. We had to use the lights on our phones to see. Due to the lack of lighting, my husband and I would constantly walk through spider webs. Phone reception is terrible. Even with Telstra. The cottage included free wi-fi, but it wasn't the greatest signal. I run a small business and had to be available to my clients while I was away on holidays. This made it difficult to update my website or respond to emails. I would have to wait till I was in town to respond. The top sheet used as a doona cover had several stains. They looked to be from cups of tea or coffee. This was reported to reception the following day. I don't normally sleep with a doona, so chose not to. I half expected it to be replaced, but it wasn't during our entire week there.

Its difficult to describe something so breathtaking. The cottage is tucked away in what can only be described as a rainforest. You really feel like one with nature. The king size bed is super comfy and had me shopping online for one back home. The shower is spacious with a large rainfall showerhead and detachable head. The kitchen is perfect for cooking for 2. Some days my husband and I would just want to stay in, cook and watch the telly instead of going out. I would wake up every morning to the sounds of nature. The lyrebirds and kookaburras calling was beautiful. The location was great. It was far enough away from the main part of town but not too far that we were alone.

The swimming pool was a bit too cold.

Spacious room, modern and great kitchenette. Comfortable beds. Amazing customer service, even without meeting them face to face! We had problems with our tv remote control our first night, and got our breakfast upgraded next day and complimentary wine for our “trouble”! Remote control was promptly fixed next morning too! I definitely recommend this beautiful hotel.

There was hair on the bedsheets, as well as hair on a piece of the ham from the breakfast. Flies were also trying to get on the food ( guests had to cover the food to keep the flies away).

Due to Covid the restaurant was closed, so it was a shame we could not use it onsite, but breakfast was provided instead at another location, which was nice. It will be welcomed once the restaurant is open again, it looks very inviting.

Breakfast a little inconvenient, 10 min drive away. Perhaps option at booking for breakfast box to room with selections made by guest. Would be happy to have continental breaky in room and wash up dishes used. Huge spider in room which scared children. (At least 15cm ) Also hopefully not charged for wine glass missing when I arrived? (3 not 4) otherwise , lovely place , would stay again

Beautiful view , good sized clean room and bathroom. Nice grounds and facilities, children enjoyed pool and outside facilities. Although breakfast was good would have preferred it on site. Easy check in and out., Friendly staff made after hours check-in easy as.Reasonably priced and would reccomend to family.

Unable to get Netflix or WiFi. No garden view from our Garden View unit, which looks on to the car park. Towels only provided for 2, when our room was booked for 3.

Lovely clean room with a beautiful view. Although the pool was a little small it wasn't full of chemicals which we loved - no chlorine smell! The Cafe was closed due to staff shortages/covid, but we still had a great stay and would recommend Clouds to anyone wanting to enjoy a relaxing break in a beautiful location.

The same as with every other hotel, the bedding is always tucked in really tight all the way around so that you have to pull it all out to get into bed which means you have to remake the bed yourself. Personally, I would prefer a doona with a doona cover - no need to tuck in and it doesn't come apart like a doona between two sheets. We would have loved a pod coffee maker and more hangers.

We were very unfortunate to experience fog and rain for our entire stay which meant we didn't experience breakfast outside or drinks by the pool which we had hoped to do. That, obviously, is not the fault of the venue but it did make it a different experience but we know why it's called Clouds! We loved the fact that the cafe sells frozen, chef prepared meals to heat in the microwave; they were very good. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were happy to bring us pots of Earl Grey tea rather than using the water from the urn which was never hot enough to make a good cup of tea. The range and quality of items offered was wonderful: fruit juice, cheese, ham, pastries, toast, cereals, fresh fruit, fruit salad, home made pots of yoghurt with cereal, etc. You would not go hungry. If that's not enough, you could pay extra for a cooked breakfast which was also delicious. The accommodation was delightful and tastefully furnished. The shower was excellent and we were glad to have a heated towel rail as the weather was so damp. We had only one hanger but were soon brought more on request. There were more electrical sockets than you could shake a stick at (very British meaning lots), including one with two USB sockets near the workdesk area. The cottage was set back from everything else so really quiet with a wonderful view of the bush. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

The coffee at breakfast could have been nicer.

Friendly, helpful staff. The Luxury Cottage was beautifully laid out and included a kitchen and everything you would require to stay there. The fact that breakfast was included with our accommodation was a bonus. The pool was lovely too and well maintained.

Advertised garden view from ground floor room when I booked. None of the ground floor rooms have a view of a garden. They all have a view of the car park. You therefore close the curtains and have no outlook at all from the room.

Well presented continental breakfast in a sunroom with views of the garden. Staff friendly and helpful. Location is great for access to Montville and Melany.

the property was nice and accommodating however the first room we were given had a broken ac and was very unclean. we then had to move everything to a new room which we were given, but this did not have a working internet connection. we were then asked to stay in the new room and go to the old room with no air con to use the internet. when the no ac room was fixed, it was filled with others. we were given yet another room and loved into it for the final night. we were given upgraded breakfast for two mornings because of the hassle. the staff also tried their level best to help out. Ella and Racheal were very good.

Absolutely fantastic! Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our rooms were together (family xmas) and overlooked the pool, which was convenient. Nice scenic drives to lots of little places (incl coffee shops). We all had an enjoyable stay and would highly recommend 'Clouds' to friends and family.

The only reason I did not award a perfect score was I asked on booking if there were 2 beds and was assured there was a sofa bed. That's reasonable but apart from sheets there was no bedding provided for the sofa. It was up to us to dismantle the main bed of quilt and pillows to get 2 functional sleeping zones. Due to the floorplan and aircon location the bedroom was a bit stuffy.

The room was a little clean and neat 1 bedroom apartment with a great view.

We went away on a mini vacay with friends and we were very impressed with the property. The complimentry continental breakfast was lovely. The pool area and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The staff (especially Susie) were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful getaway ;)

Staff could have been more helpful.

Breakfast was a little disorganised with little direction and not much to select from. Accomodation was good except that we couldn’t connect to Netflix. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good location.

Everything was great however there were lots of cobwebs on the path to our cottage. Every time we got rid of them they’d be back within a few hours. Understand it’s in the rainforest but if the trees surrounding the path could be sprayed that would be good. Also most other luxury accommodation providers offer a complimentary bottle of wine and that would have been a nice touch.

The luxury cottage was incredible! We loved having our own private oasis. The continental breakkie was great too! We would definitely stay again!
