It’s good if you could air condition the rooms. Pedestal fans need plastic covers to the edges of the stands. Uncovered metal parts can injure people. There was one small cockroach in the room.

The overall appearance, room size and facilities provided.

Great location in Coober Pedy. Friendly personel. However there was plus 40 degree outside during our stay, so in the rooms was also very hot unfortunately.

Cost for the inhouse breakfast a bit high. $20 each for a bowl of cereal and a piece of toast is a bit much.

Made our own breakfast as we left early. Otherwise good.

It was really hot outside when we were there and the hotel usually doesn't get warm due to being underground. There isn't AC in the rooms but wondering if they incorporate AC in the front and down the halls it might help.

We loved the hotel. Really interesting history within and around the immediate hotel. The staff were really welcoming

The bathroom cold water tap and the exhaust fan in our family room (number 14) wasn't working. When I checked with reception I was told that it cannot be fixed. The Plumber has had a look before and has confirmed it cannot be fixed, which I thought is strange. There were no other rooms available. So I had to be in this room for 3 days. Brushing our teeth and washing our hands after going to the loo was a challenge as it had to be done from the kitchenette tap that's inside the room. Because you are staying with other family members this was a challenge. Only 1 fan was placed in the corridor on the bottom floor away from the rooms. Which made it a bit claustrophobic on the 2nd and 3rd nights. The top floor had about 3 fans. Because it is a family room and we had booked it for three nights, more consideration should have been given and a functional room should have been provided to us.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable.

WiFi was an issue when we stayed as not available in our room (but you are underground!) easily picked up in public areas within the hotel.

Quirky, clean and homely. Reception lady an asset to the hotel… efficient, friendly, informative and a great sense of humour. BBQ available to use and the bottle shop is worth a visit.

Could use the washing facilities as we needed to desperately do some washing & Coober Pedy laundromat was temporarily closed. The prices are wrongly advertised for breakfast menu.

How cool it was temperature wise…the fact it was fascinating being underground…the bed was so comfy…just the whole layout was AmazIng :-)

Bath towels were a bit scratchy, but considering this Inn is located in the Aussie outback, we took it as part of the overall experience!

Incredible underground experience, very well presented. The pride in the presentation of the experience can be be appreciated as soon as you enter. Loved the quirky displays in the corners, it was an adventure in itself walking through the Inn.
