Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaThe in-room dining food quality and cooking was very average. They need a better chef.
The Como has a good “feel” and is located in a vibrant area with an excellent cafe around the corner, Maker. Como staff are skilled and friendly - couldn’t be better. The room, a Junior Suite, was special, large with a study and spacious lounge which opened up, through two french windows, onto a garden.

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by friendly staff and received a glass of champagne. We stayed for 2 nights for our anniversary and we got a knock on our door with a special card saying congratulations, small complimentary treats and 2 small bottles of wine. How wonderful is that 🥰

Australiathe shower leaked water onto the floor a bit which could be a little dangerous. the chromecast feature wasn't working at all on the TV. It would be great if there were more details about the bathroom on the listing for the room when booking, the main reason we picked the como in south yarra rather than going into the city was for the bath.
room was a great size, very clean, had a decent-sized tub, and the shower pressure was amazing. We loved that the TV swivelled to the bed.

AustraliaCleaning not to highest standard, understaffed, had to consistently request sugar and coffee in room to be replenished. Rooms are looking quite old and tired. Bathtub discoloured and stained. Shower was in bathtub with very high sides. Not suitable for elderly people. Had to request room with walk in shower for my mother. Floor tiles dangerously slippery in bathrooms. Almost no drawer storage in room, had to keep my clothes in my suitcase. Can’t open windows in the room and had to keep curtains closed day and night as other rooms looked directly in to the bed which made it feel very claustrophobic.

AustraliaThere's no food/room service at 2am. I went to Taylor Swift concert. I got back to our room at 1-2am, i was hungry. I asked if I could order food to our room. According to staff at the reception, there's no kitchen at 1am in the morning.
Oh God, the bed is divine. The room is pristine clean. The staff are genuinely helpful and friendly.

As first visit to Melbourne everything was brilliant , hotel , staff, location. Our family recommended the hotel as they also were staying there. Four couples in all and it was amazing. We had a wedding in Camberwell so very convenient for us. I would personally like to mention a very happy, warm staff member who attended our room and looked after us with out exception.........Marisol......a lovely Chilean lady, I hope that I have spelt her name correctly. Beautiful.

Been before, like the space and style, staff were great, S Yarra is handy for City and relatives in the suburbs, good restaurants and transport.

AustraliaThe parking situation is a sticking point personally. Limited space available onsite, it's outside, and close to $50 a night, some parks are not suitable for larger vehicles (I drive a HiLux). Alternative parking is a public parking lot thats just down the road, it too is a bit expensive and I personally don't like the idea of leaving my vehicle there. But each to their own preference.
First time staying at the Como, it was great. Lovely rooms, so much more than I expected. Staff were lovely, parking is convenient although it's good to keep in mind that parking at the location is limited and outside, essentially a first in best dressed. Wish I'd had the time to enjoy the restaurant and the other facilities such as the pool and gym.

FranceI am always disappointed when hotels don't provide Australian-made bathroom products. It is an important branding choice. The bathrobes and slippers weren't very nice either.
We chose it for the location in bustling South Yarra. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping people who went out of their way. The pool was wonderful too.
