A few minor repairs to the floor covering.

This location was perfect for us. The garden Studio is quite nice, the bed was comfortable and the shower water hot. The floor in one end of the studio has a slope to it and the floor covering has lifted and a bit buckled - this didn’t affect our stay.

Room is comfortable and clean. Kitchen was clean and well maintained. I never saw any staff but a had good communication with them either on the phone or via email. It's a good location if you want to be close to things but away from the craziness of the CBD.

The staff never replaced my towel or removed the trash from my room during my 5-day stay. The bathrooms were very basic.

The room was small but had sufficient amenities. The lodge is located in a large, old traditional house which had a nice overall vibe but some facilities were dated as a result. Location is great, sandwiched between two North Sydney neighborhoods and close to many restaurants and shops.

We booked this property as we wanted somewhere close to city centre with parking. It turns out they only have a few spaces and it's a crazy price at $30 a day. The on street parking is 2 hr max 9:30 - 5:30 Mon -fri so luckily we were away all day Friday and stayed over the weekend so as long as you stay over the weekend it's ok otherwise parking is an issue

Nice location in a lovely area with some cafes, the room was nice and great to have a well stocked kitchen to cool with, the shared bathrooms are good but the showers leak all over the floor

Smaller room than expected, Carpet in the house need replacing in general, very small toilet spaces except for one of them, house need to be perfumed daily since the cooking smells were strong

The bathrooms were very clean but the disinfectant used smelt truly awful. As a result despite the cleanliness you felt like you were in a men’s public urinal.

The room was MUCH smaller than I expected and I thought the bathrooms could have been a lot cleaner. The showers and basins were clean but the floors were pretty awful and the toilet seats also needed better cleaning

Breakfast should have been included. Bnb stands for Bed and Breakfast, not just the bed. There was no reception or any sort of room service. This is a problem during late hours

Amenities had a strong smell from the urinals and toilets were sometimes a little messy between cleans.

Staff were super helpful with the check in process. House and rooms exceeded expectations. Amazing value.

There was really very little that I didn't like and probably one thing would be that particularly for late arrivals like me, especially those who come for the first time, it would be nice if there could be at least fresh milk and maybe some biscuits to have with a cuppa before bed. This could be kept in the communal kitchen of course but I didn't know about that initially as I didn't read all the info carefully beforehand.

I had no expectations and didn't know anything about Dalziel Lodge. I chose it for the location, proximity to trains and friends. I would definitely stay there again for these reasons. Now I know that it's almost like a hostel place with communal kitchen in place, etc, I have a better understanding. However overall my stay was very very good, comfortable, very close to great coffee and breakfast places. The Compendium was excellent and helped enormously. I had arrived late in the evening so I had to make calls to the Duty Manager about a couple of things. I will definitely look forward to going back.

The only thing I wish I could change is the location. This was rather long walk after a long day of exploring the city.

In general the accomodation was clean, quite and relaxed Was easy to get the key. No one disturbed me. Got a good nights sleep. Area felt safe and wasn't worried about safety

Since the laundry service is coin operated, its quite hard to get change these days especially in just 1 dollar coins. I had to go to a few different shops to get the coins for the machine.

The room was comfortable, had a mini fridge which was very useful to cook my own food instead of eating out and since its a shared kitchen. So grateful for the air conditioning in the room since it was really hot most of the nights I was in Sydney. But there are a lot of options to eat out about 15 minutes from the Lodge if you'd like that.

The room was very small; there was not a lot of space to put our 2 suitcases away. But it was still a nice room! We never saw anyone at reception but we were there for NYE. We personally didn't have an issue with it and wouldn't consider it necessary, but if guests had a problem, they would have to call someone.

-well maintained accommodation -self check-in was easy and convenient -The room and facilities were very clean. Housekeeping does a great job! -mature guests that clean up after themselves in the common area (sharing kitchen and bathroom was not an issue as there are not that many rooms and people to share with and everything was left clean) -We barely saw other people and it was so nice and quiet! -We really liked the location as well: A quiet area of Sydney, but the bus stops around the corner and it's a short ride to the CBD -Common area looks very cosy! -AC worked well! -We slept really well!

Parking is always an issue but there's not much they can do about that! The aircon units are probably overdue for a service as the one I had was definitely not effective, and there was a powerpoint in my room that you couldn't use because the plugs literally kept falling out.

I always like staying here as it is close to the city and good value for money.

I loved the place and felt very safe and secure. Any issues, calling a number given at the reception counter someone usually calls back ...you may have to try a few times. It would be great for the establishment if they could update the bathrooms and toilets esp upstairs. While the toilets downstairs were reasonably sized, the toilets upstairs were tiny cubicles. A grown adult will find it hard to squeeze themselves into the narrow cubicle, turn around after to grab the tissue and so on. Shower area could have proper walls bc some of the other persons shower seeps into the next shower area thru the partition..The kitchen was fair. It has necc pots and pans, cutlery and cups and plates. However the establishment could perhaps do what other establishments do and provide the basic necc like oil, sugar, pepper, basic condiments. Most guests stay just a day or two or a few days. Each guest ends up buying a bottle of oil, and condiments and most of these things which u only need a little bit of, could be provided. Once the guest leaves, they have to get rid of the stuff they bought. Pots could be newer . This is just minor details. It is a great, safe and convenient place to stay.

Nice clean bed and room. Very clean lodge. Staff were very helpful and friendly. ....excellent staff. Very close to city and many buses, near trains and shops, restaurants. I would highly recommend and I would definitely stay there again for the convenience.
