How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No water in the fridge in the room and I wasn’t sure if it was ok to drink fm the tap ad there wasn’t any signage. Housekeeping starts early and I wasn’t advised and was woken up by them one morning.
The staff are gorgeous, so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, and I asked for lots of pillows which were on the bed when I arrived. There is a snack bar in the lobby which is handy as most flights come in late so you can grab a bite with ease before going to bed. The pool was perfect, plenty of space and shade which you need in the NT heat. The refurbishment of the hotel has been done well - and the bed was comfortable.

Very outdated hotel and not what I would consider “Hilton”. There was also a 21st birthday held in a very random space in the hotel, while we were swimming in the pool. Everyone was watching us swim and we had to walk through the party while we were dripping wet to get back to the room. It was just awkward.
The location was great and it was decent for the price.

Starting to look a bit tired and in need of refurbishment.
Good location on the Esplanade and excellent buffet breakfast. Chef and staff did an exceptional job!

Could not buy alcohol without a main meal on Friday and got told this applied to the entire weekend only to find out at another establishment that this was not correct. Hence we did not use the bar facilities.

Hard to manage given the wet season and humidity but rooms were damp and lots of condensation from the aircon. Minor issue.
Recent refurb and lobby facilities good. Great friendly and helpful staff.

Dining staff could have been little bit more friendly, extending my stay $ 1200 at Reception got it for $700 on line ??
Reception Staff 10/10 except I tried to extend my stay with them (1 x person) and I went up and got the same Price online for almost half the Price I was Given at Reception?

Check out was at 12, we stayed until 7 and that cost us an extra day. The hotel at first denied we had breakfast included in our stay, I had to find the paper work to prove it.
The room was fine and the beds comfortable.

This is my second time staying at the property and I must say I am a bit disappointed that we always encounter during those stay. First stay- we encountered domestic violence in the passage where police was called. Second stay- we couldn’t sleep from the noise caused by people who were on the same level. The noise sounded like people were under influence swearing and loud noises. I tried to ring the receptionist and no one answered the phone. This was between 1am -3 am. The noise continued and I feared for my life to even go downstairs to inform the staff as there were not picking up the call. In the morning, I I formed staff and I was told no one had complained.
It was close to the park and our kids could play The rooms were clean and staff very friendly

It was wet season so everything is wet and damp. The reception area smelled really nice but the room was a bit musty when you walk in.
The beds & bedding were really comfortable. I like that the room service food is "packaged in bags" which is good for the environment and overall efficiences. We also like the nice branded shower pump and soaps. The gym was being renovated so we were able to use all the facilities at the more upmarket Hilton in the centre of town which was fantastic.
