Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IrelandSo stylish! This place just makes you feel special as soon as you walk in the door, with wonderful art, high ceilings, brightness and a very cool atmosphere. The wonderful staff were very welcoming and highly professional. They even upgraded our room when we told them how our original room might result in us being kept awake as it was close to the lift. The bar was quite good and the breakfast is superb, located in a bright and airy breakfast room. Centrally located and with brilliant street views through the massive floor to ceiling windows, I'd not hesitate to stay here again.

Parking was available across the road in public carpark with a code from the hotel. Room snacks item listed not supplied. Pipe under basin had a slow leak which didn't cause any problems.
Quirkiness of the hotel. Great decor. Good size room, big shower great view. Close to Marvel Stadium where we were attending a concert. Comfy bed. Breakfast available in the restaurant.

United KingdomNo plugs close to mirror in main room to style hair but two plugs available in bathroom.
Great location, central to flinders Street and Spencer Street, tram only 2 minute walk on flat. Close to convenience stores and Southern Cross train station. Beds were lovely and comfy, we both had a double bed each which was great. Bathroom was modern and clean, lovely lighting in the bathroom vanity mirror. Robes and slippers were a lovely touch. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice.
