The aspect of unit facing carpark near noisy rubbish area. Requested sunny balcony at least 4 times to no avail. Pool cold as did not have sun on it during day.

The Booking.com site stated we would have a ground floor apartment with pool view. On check-in we were allocated an apartment on the 2nd floor with external view. Check-in staff were unaware of the Booking.com stated requirement and advised they were fully booked. However, they were able to move us to a ground floor and poolside apartment on the second day (as we were there for 30 nights). The apartment was serviced daily (except Sunday's) and this included changing towels and removing rubbish and a basic clean around kitchen and bathroom. However, after about 2.5 weeks we realized the apartment had not been vacuumed and this was attended to after we raised it. Also, no dusting took place at all. We suggest for long stay a more regular full clean (perhaps weekly or at least fortnightly) would be appropriate. We had serious problems with noise from an electric motor driving the garden watering system, located immediately outside our bedroom window, switching on very late at night and in the early hours of the morning. After several nights of disturbed sleep we were able to identify the problem and we switched off the pump after informing staff.

A great location and well kitted out apartment. With a ground floor apartment we had easy access to pool and barbeque facilities. Easy, free parking was a plus. The staff were terrific - friendly and very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 30 nights and felt very safe and relaxed. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

We didn’t like the location. we thought the area felt unsafe at night beyond the hotel . There was no major supermarket near by for self catering

We stayed at the Hudson Parap on three occasions during our time in Darwin. It was the last day of our honeymoon and we asked for a late checkout, but the staff would not allow it. We even asked if we could pay extra - but to no avail. I found this rather frustrating and thought that a 12pm check-out (rather than 10) wasn't too much to ask. So, unfortunately we left feeling a little disappointed.

Spacious and very clean rooms. Laundry facilities were very handy (as we were travelling for 5 weeks). Location is fantastic. Close to some fabulous cafes and the Parap Market on Saturday's is sensational!

Shower over bath not ideal for people of a "mature" age like me - difficult to use safely without falling. The TVs were not Smart, so Netflix etc could not be streamed or cast

Nothing I didn't like.

Size of rooms , great size. Advertised room with pool , they moved us , with no fuss , when our view was of school. Location to there local shops , and Fanny Bay.

A great location for exploring Parap and surrounding areas of Darwin including to all the clubs along the beach to watch the sunset with a drink and dinner. Easy after hours check in after a late night flight arrival, and very clean room with a comfy bed. would recommend
