Lots stairs- swimout room assumed ground level but lits stairs - swimout room but VERY difficult to get in and out. Deck Too high out of pool to climb

Our room was on the lowest floor so it was quite dark and damp, the room smelled damp and mouldy.

The location was great, right on main street within walking distance to everything we needed during our stay. We had a swim out room which was easy access straight into the pool with our own deck and sunlounges.

The mattress has absolutely expired it’s use by date & although we requested to stay in a particular room we weren’t expecting to hear maintenance or renovation works directly above our room all week,there was no warning of this if so would’ve requested a different room.

The cleanliness and location is excellent.

Lifts weren’t working for the whole stay, some notice prior to arrival would of been good !! we were not asked if were able to manage stairs which is concerning. Also 9 night stay, stock of tea, toilet paper etc should of been stocked rather than us chasing for it. Staff also shouldn’t replace linen if badly stained, this happened to us. There was Sand on bed linen upon arrival. Doors also should cleaned lots of dirty marks and dribbles of stickiness.

I thought the pool was a little dirty. Wasn't inviting to swim in and I had paid an extra $600 to have a swim out pool balcony and hardly used it because of the state of the pool and all the kids blow ups and noodles left in the pool. Leaves and fluff everywhere.

Like a lot of places, it is a little tired but not overly so. Signs of wear in the rooms and the pools do really need a surface recoat as they look a bit blotchy. Probably the biggest gripe is no free wifi and the rather exorbitant price of it. Given the block construction, 4G/5G coverage is patchy at best (in our room anyway) which ironically meant I couldn’t sign up for wifi anyway! In 2023, why hotels/resorts charge for wi fi is bewildering. Add $10 a day to the room rate or absorb the cost or something. It seems so last decade (or even the one before!) to be charging given this is not a cheap resort by any means.

We had a swim up room which was good although the step in and out of the pool was a bit of a challenge! One of the rooms had hand rails but all other swim up rooms didn’t. The location is by far the best aspect of this resort - you are right bang in the middle of the Main Street. The room we had was also quite generous.

Reception opening hours do not match those listed on the website. Wifi was “free” if you signed up to Accor.

You cannot beat the location! Right in the heart of Port Douglas, just a few minutes walk from most of the restaurants and pubs, shops, pharmacies and supermarket. Rooms were huge, bed was comfy and washer, dryer and clothes airer were unexpected benefits. Hot tip: There are two pools, but please note that the larger of the two is colder - definitely recommend swimming in the smaller pool.

Noisy neighbours at night. Apartment and facility is tired and needs a refresh. Plastic plants look awful. You can do better.

The layout made it a bit noisy at times - from the pool and those on the deck below us. Fixed by closing the balcony door but that's not something we always wanted to do.

Great central location in the middle of the shops. Good little kitchen with everything we wanted. But no option to separate our rubbish from recycling. Very nice pool.

Our suite was a bit dated. Not much wardrobe storage space and none in the bathroom. Very small kitchen with no pantry. Pool area alot smaller than expected.

Bathroom was dirty and mouldy, mould everywhere. this was absolutely disgusting. towels were dirty. there was hair in the sink upon arrival and hair all over the lounge. the door separating the bedroom and lounge/kitchen and was broken which meant that we had no privacy. Our bed was visible from the pool area and the door could not be closed. This meant we had to have our curtains down at all times during the day and night. room definitely didn’t match the pictures. pillows were very uncomfortable. staff were lovely and very helpful and apologetic. oils not fault the staff. Definitely do not think that the room was worth the price paid. We could have stayed in a much better resort at night for the same cost. room decor needs to be updated. pool heater was broken so we were unable to swim. jacuzzi pump was not working properly. the location was amazing. if not for the location this accommodation would have ruined our stay. probably would not stay here again.
